Last post (for now!). There is no way to post pictures of all our close friends and voluminous family members who flew in from all over the country to celebrate with us. Thank you for making this such a special day for us. And I am endlessly grateful for
@mrsbecwilson @abbyrm528 @schisolmmiller @eacox24 @iamjodiking who saved the day and made this garden-fairytale-magical wedding come to life! The last picture in this set is of our dear friends @joshwilsonmusic and @mrsbecwilson who set James and I up on our first date knowing we were perfect for one another. They were right. Couldn’t ask for sweeter friends who love us more than we deserve! Thank you, thank you, thank you to all our people for being our people. ❤️🎉💃🏻

We adore him and his incredible family more than words could possibly express. The last few months he and I have navigated more complicated, heart-wrenching roads than either of us bargained on for year one… or any year for that matter. Life got real, real fast. But he is still the safest, softest, funniest, wisest, deepest and most tender person I’ve ever known—and walking hard roads with him is all of those things. Going to bed deeply loved and waking up deeply loved by this man is the most surprising, beautiful, unexpected change in my life’s story. I’m not sure either of us has gotten to the place where we don’t tear up at least once a day as we find ourselves in some simple, beautiful moment we “never thought we’d have.” He hugs his grown sister and kisses her on the head… I tear up. Lucy tucks flowers in his hand and runs of with her new bonus cousins… he tears up. We take turns being amazed. As we plan our June 4th wedding he always says, “We’re living our redemption story. Let’s just throw a huge party and celebrate that.” So that’s what we’re going to do. Keep celebrating this thing we never saw coming and the grace of 2nd, 3rd and 100th chances and the goodness of loving someone deeply.

So many breathtaking places with two wonderfully loving and adventurous families. Spending this past month getting to share some very special memories with the beautiful @abby_gleason_ has been a dream. Now I guess we gotta start doing the whole nursing thing 👀
