Let’s talk about editing with AI 🤖📸

I recently came across some photos I took of Mark a while ago and thought it would be interesting to revisit them.

I took my original manual edits and compared them with what AI can do today.

And it got me thinking…

Does AI add something to an image, or does it take something away?

Photography has always been more than making an image look “perfect” to me. It’s about capturing the energy, emotion and essence of the human in front of the camera.

AI can do some incredible things — but at what point does an image stop being a photograph of someone and start becoming an interpretation of them?

I’m genuinely curious what you think.

One of the most painful thorns in my flesh to date was serious digestive troubles that lasted years on end in my 20s. It taught me a ridiculous amount about my health and exposed how little we knew as a modern society about gut health.

I remember reaching a a cross-roads in my life after multiple endoscopes and colonoscopies and being rotated on the western merry go round of specialists all floating long term meds or surgery. So I started looking at things differently, which honesty, was challenging.

I started the slow process of learning holistic health and leaning heavily on eastern sciences to understand the root cause of what was going on with my health. More than a decade later, a fully recovered digestive system for many years and this work is still deeply present in my life as I support others in their healing. This short masterclass is designed for those who need a better direction. That want to heal from the root of it all, not just more surface level bandage options.

I said yes to becoming a father when I was in Egypt.

No relationship, no partner, but I knew in my heart it was time to step into the next evolution of myself and experience what it’s like to become a father.

Shortly after choosing this, I was guided home to Victoria to further heal and to better understand the patterns standing between me and my next chapter.

There were parts of me that needed to grow up, more effort, more balance, early starts for no reason other than better health. I got my blood work done and adjusted my levels. I trained and woke up at 4:30 a.m. to meditate.

I explored my patterns in the mirror of life and deepened my relationships with people. Old patterns and dynamics were upgraded, often without much choice. New and old people left my story. I processed hurt and found new levels of forgiveness and self acceptance. I found original patterns, felt them deeply, and let them go with love. I wrestled with old versions of myself and released shame and thoughts about who I was and how I had to show up.

Yet through all this I kept my practices strong and moved and maintained the versions of me I have built over the last several years. It felt like a test of embodiment, who are you when you are hurting, when you are around old environments.

I supported hundreds of clients on their journey to deeper self awareness and healing.

People would ask me how I was doing, and I would say I was in my “blessing era.” I focused on growth, brotherhood, and received sacred blueprints from healthy masculine relationships that reached new levels of health and vitality.

So off I go to Bali to continue to live a life of following my open heart, feeling upgraded, motivated, healthy, and centered.

For real though 😂 super grateful for these brothers and the powerful time on the land last week 🌵🗿

The men brought some deep vulnerability to our individual and collective healing and also some focussed prayers for the protection of the feminine during this time 🌹

We were blessed with the most incredible scenery and magical encounters 🦅🦊🦘

At the end of our mountain hike I shared my new track, Heartbeat of the Earth, which is itself an honouring of our beautiful planet. It was so special to dance along and celebrate life with 8 other warriors on the path of service and love 💚

The track lands tomorrow May 5th - available now for presave or streaming on all the platforms 🌏

“It’s not a retreat, it’s a holiday”a recent guest said. It’s true! Honestly, I have MORE time to relax and receive at our party retreats than normal every day life. With six “free time” breaks in our schedule and a chef taking care of our food, it really is like a holiday, including for us!

I love this first photo, taken at our final rendezvous last year, Andre & I casually draped over a mermaid rock in the Never Never river.
