For the better part of the last 3 years, since I heard about the idea of 3D Printing golf clubs for the first time, I’ve been fascinated with the concept. It’s the one story in equipment that I’ve spent the most time in and the one I’ve been most intrigued by. I’ve asked LOTS of questions, most of which I can’t share the answers to, and had lots of discussions with the Cobra team over the last little bit.

Fast forward to getting a job with GOLF.com and I was afforded the opportunity to make this documentary with one hell of a producer in @sodaro_3 and we spent 2 days interviewing the folks who made this all happen and got to do some very… interesting testing.

Doing these kinds of things is what made me start M4TR in the first place. Being able to tell these stories and showcase the people in the background making it all happen, while we get to sit and enjoy being a part of golf history right in front of our eyes. It’s a moment that makes me take a step back and realize the gratitude that I have for what I do, the work it took to get here, and the chance that GOLF and Johnny took on me to lead the way in telling these types of stories.

This one happens to be very close to me and something I can’t wait to continue to share coverage on with everybody through Fully Equipped, GOLF, and of course M4TR.
