Bringing communities & organizations together to help revitalize Detroit neighborhoods in an equitable and sustainable way. Together w/ YOU!

FIVE LOAVES. TWO FISH.🩸We have done much with little.

Reflecting on our August 2025 Back-to-School Fest at Durfee Innovation Society, where we welcomed Abdul El-Sayed, Hill Harper + Jocelyn Benson into our community.

To Abdul + Jocelyn, thank you for your presence + the perspectives you shared with our community. To Hill Harper, thank you for always believing in better.

Since our first steps on Woodward in 2024, City Sweat Club has:

MOVED NEARLY 6,000 PEOPLE.
SUPPORTED 1,500+ FAMILIES.
CONTRIBUTED 900+ VOLUNTEER HOURS.

All while making 70% of our fitness programming available at zero cost to our community.

We serve youth whose past should never define their future. Older adults. Working families. Those seeking movement, meaningful connection + a space to simply be themselves.

ACCESS DOESN’T HAVE A FACE. NEITHER DOES NEED.

You can be the person providing the opportunity + the person who needs it.

We’ve built a community wellness model centered on prevention, education + access. With limited sponsorships and donor contributions, we’ve personally carried much of the financial responsibility to make this work possible.

There are resources, opportunities + investments capable of moving this work forward. What we need now is greater access to them.

WE NEED YOUR VOICES TO AMPLIFY OURS. Help us open doors to sustainable funding, meaningful sponsorships + institutional partnerships that allow us to continue serving our community.

To Abdul + Jocelyn, we invite you to revisit our space, witness what we’ve continued to build + help open doors to sustainable investment in community wellness.

Our invitation extends to every leader, institution + organization positioned to make a difference.

THOSE WHO GO FIRST DESERVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KEEP GOING.

To our people, we see you. To our leadership, we pray that you see us. We will not grow weary in doing goodness for others. GAL 6:9

THIS IS CITY SWEAT CLUB. Beyond steps + reps, we move for more.
And, we’re here to move the people. All of the people.🩸

MOVE WELL. THINK WELL. VOTE WELL.🗳️ Your vote is your voice. Make it an informed one.

Meet us in the café for BALLOT BASH, an evening of nonpartisan voter education, community conversation + civic engagement.

We’re creating space to get familiar with what’s on the ballot, understand the decisions ahead, ask questions + access resources to help you make informed choices at the polls. Light refreshments provided while items last.

Know your ballot. Understand your options. Make your voice count.

Community well-being extends beyond movement. It includes being informed, engaged + empowered to participate in the decisions that shape our neighborhoods.

Open to every body. All perspectives welcome. No RSVP required, check in upon arrival.

Last month, alongside Life Remodeled, our Detroit team and other volunteers spent the day cleaning up the east side neighborhoods in Detroit, including vacant lots and properties. Their volunteer efforts included trash pickup, brush removal, lawn mowing, weed whacking, and general cleanup.

We're proud to have a presence in the Detroit area and remain committed to supporting the communities where we live and work. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped make a meaningful impact.

A different kind of workday for our Birmingham office, lending a hand in Detroit’s neighborhoods for Life Remodeled’s annual six-day project.

✨✨Diallo Smith✨✨
CEO, Life Remodeled

Congratulations to Diallo Smith, CEO of Life Remodeled, on being named a 2026 James H. Cole Legacy Foundation Heroes and Hope Award recipient!

🎮🚀 GREAT LAKES GAMING CONVENTION | GLGC 2026

📅 September 26, 2026
📍 Dow Diamond | Midland, Michigan

Had the opportunity to capture photos and videos of Denby Esports competing in Rocket League at the Great Lakes Gaming Convention! 📸🎮 It was great to support my former high school’s esports team while capturing the competition, gameplay, and moments throughout the event.

From the players competing to the action on screen, it was a great experience combining my interest in esports with photography and content creation!

Giving back to the communities we’re proud to be a part of!

Our Team Rehab crew recently joined Life Remodeled to roll up their sleeves and help beautify neighborhoods throughout Detroit. From clearing debris to tackling outdoor projects, our team had a great time working together and giving back to the community. 💪🏡

We’re grateful for opportunities like these to step outside the clinic, work alongside one another, and make a positive impact in the communities we serve! @liferemodeled

This past weekend, Inner City Inclusion and new President, Aaron, had the opportunity to return to Detroit for a meaningful day of service in partnership with @liferemodeled! 🏙️📚

This experience was a great reminder of the importance of service, connection, and investing in the communities we call home. We’re proud to have our team represent our organization through hands-on service and look forward to continuing to build partnerships that make a lasting impact in Detroit.

Thank you to Life Remodeled for allowing us to be part of the work, and for everything you continue to do for the Detroit community!
