Dear Jacob,

The other day mama and dada realised we never got to share the precious memories of your first birthday..you weren't feeling your best that day between the teething and a cold and yet you were still so happy to see your sweetest friends come over to celebrate you 🤍

The cake took some time getting used to and even then you absolutely refused to touch it. No cake smash but you sure were happy listening to everyone singing and cheering you on.

Mama and dada are always reminiscing on how fast you're growing and changing. We are so proud of you our sweet boy.

Dear Esther and Jacob,

We had our first trip as a family of f o u r!

And it was no small trip either - we went on a long-haul flight all the way to Salem, Oregon.

2 flights, 2 buggies, 2 car seats and about a mountain of luggages. We packed more snacks and wipes than clothes it seems. Prep is always key 🙃

And mama and dada cannot be more proud of how well you both did not just on the flights but throughout the whole trip. We're already dreaming about our next trip.

Just a little growing family ready to make messy, beautiful memories in between feeds and nappy changes. This is the season that we're in right now and mama and dada are so here for it.

One full week of holding you in my arms 🤍

We've been spending most of our time lately like this and it could not be more perfect.

There's definitely new challenges of going from 1 to 2 kidos, but it's so beautiful to see how much Esther loves and cares for her little brother.

And yes, our Christmas decorations are all still up and the whole house is completely upside down, but our hearts could not be fuller from this new addition.
