Happiest of International Women's Day, and please allow me to say this about that. We are absolutely not worthy.

Ladies, you received the proverbial short end of the stick the second you miraculously dropped into this life, and even if it is without choice, your resilience as physiological species outranks the gents early on. The fact that you are tasked to do the same things as the guys, all while battling reoccurring, scheduled body beat-downs is insanity(also ahould have NEVER been normalized #IMHO).

Not enough men understand that you are literally risking your life to bare children for starters, and with that warrior spirit alone, do not require protection. As a matter of fact, I love all of the strong females in my life and I would be mortified to take any on in battle solo.

You are smarter. You are more logical, and even if tears must be shed are far more in control of your emotions than your boy counterparts. If you go back is history I am confident that behind every great man, is a phenomenal woman and I, for one certainly would not ever be able to be a lead in my career without the advice, the support, and the example of all the baddies in my life.

My prayer is that moving forward, we shatter the illusion that somehow the world up until now has been run any other way. My hope is not that you inherit the unwanted mess that the boys have created over thousands of years, but that you can finally take your place in the light so we can work towards the peace and harmony you've always deserved queens. Alll of my love, respect, and most important gratitude... you make me better every day❤️✊🏼

Well…Mom pulled out a photo box this week looking for a specific #Christmas 🎄 photo and I realized I had bangs way more as a kid than I remembered. 🤔😮😂

So in advance of my #birthday this week (12/31 NYE Capricorn baby right here 🙋🏻‍♀️) I give you #BANGS …a photo series.

I’m obsessed with Kermit the Frog 🐸 making a couple appearances on vintage Christmas in the 70’s (I loved The #Muppets & Sesame Street- still do!) and…wasn’t my Grandmother stunning?! 😍

Bonus photo at the end…may I take that energy into #2026 and may I not feel the need to cut dramatic bangs in the coming year without proper thought & consideration. Or is it the other way around after making it through 2025?? 😅💇🏻‍♀️🥳♥️🫶🏼

#FBF to that one time I helped pull off a reality show surprise. . .

No, it wasn’t “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” but I suppose it could’ve been! LOL- it was called 🌟 “Live Like A Star” 🌟 and unlike Extreme Makeover they only redid. . . one bedroom.

The surprise was for my BFF April. I had to pretend I called Radio Disney and won tickets to Disneyland for myself and 5 others. Acting job #1 ✅ 😂

While we were at Disneyland with the kids for the day, cast & crew of the show were turning her kid’s bedroom upside down, inside out, and redoing it to be a Lakers themed room. Go Lakers! 💜💛

Naturally, nothing went as planned, and I had to keep stalling on going home from Disneyland. Acting job #2 ✅😂

By the time the producers were actually ready for us to arrive home. . . at like 10PM!. . . the kids were hungry, cranky, tired, crying and having fits. Meanwhile, I was applying makeup in the car on the way home. 💄

“Why are you putting on makeup right now?” April asked me.

“I have a date.”

“At 10PM?!”

“Yes, April, don’t hate the player, hate the game.”

Okay. . . so that’s probably not what I said but. . . Acting job #3 ✅😂

When we opened April’s door to an entire camera crew in our face with hungry, crying children, it was yes….true reality. Everyone was surprised, some kids were happy, some were NOT. 😆🤣

That’s my reality show story and the best one I’ve got. . . April has since been on another reality show of her own. 💃🏽💅🏻😂

. . . And 1 Single Mother who received a partial scholarship to complete her conservatory training but also couldn’t afford to pay the final tuition bill in the year of our Lord two thousand and five.

So, in the year of our Lord twenty-twenty four, she reached out and said “hey, can I pickup my diploma now?”

And they said, “Sure. Please prepare two contrasting monologues: one dramatic and one comedic.” 🎭😂🎭

Just kidding. They said “your financial hold has been cleared and you can pick up your diploma!”

Yes it’s a piece of paper, but ultimately it represents so much of my journey. Some days I still can’t believe that I had enough courage to pick up and move Tyler & I from Michigan to California. Some days I don’t understand how I managed to afford living here; other days I’m pinching myself and so grateful that this is where we live now (given the state of the world).

I absolutely loved my time at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood and I’m so sad over the news of its closing. I’m grateful I got to revisit the campus and take a trip down memory lane (and finally become a graduate!) all at once. Keep Dreaming and Keep the Faith. . . 💫 👩🏻‍🎓🙏🏼 💕 👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼

Someone asked me if I was the florist at a wedding recently. Well no, but do I floral department and gift flowers like a professional? Why yes, yes I do. While in Solvang, CA living his best ranch life over Thanksgiving weekend, MAC tried his hand at being both horse 🐴 whisperer and Dalmatian wrangler. They may have been bigger in size but MAC’s courage and confidence in both scenarios was quite large. 😹🥰😹

Melody is 11 months-old today! Getting closer to this baby’s 1st birthday. She is the silliest and most playful girl— a wild little lion 🦁 at heart- but here’s proof she can be a calm cuddler and an absolute LOVE. She literally crawled inside my arms to sleep after being left Home Alone for the first time at Thanksgiving. Not to worry, I’m sure she totally would’ve Kevin McCallister’d any Hamburglars that entered her kingdom…but she obviously missed her mama. 🥰🥹

Melody’s (Baby’s!) first Christmas!! She woke up snuggled in bed so cozy & warm like a little Santa Claws that she is…and then MAC had a fabulous, best ever, GOOD BOY Santa 🎅🏼 Paws 🐾 Christmas out in Sierra Madre. These fur angels…we don’t deserve them, do we?! Yes they BOTH got 🎁!!
