POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last Friday @lightsleeperstudio and I screened our film ‘This is for all of us’ at the Existing Otherwise conference at @birkbeckuol. As you can probably tell from our beaming faces, we are so immensely proud of this film and enjoyed sharing what we’ve learnt about collaborative filmmaking for change with attendees. It was a fascinating day hearing from fellow researchers, activists and facilitators, full of hope and care amid such a difficult time for trans & gender expansive people. Thankyou for having us 🥰

‘This is for all of us’ is a short poetic documentary film made for @wildyoungparents, and will be released officially later this year. The film centres on Luke, a young Dad, talking about his experiences as a trans man living in Cornwall. It was a privilege to represent the project and the organisation with @lightsleeperstudio, as well as speak about the work we did with Luke, taking the opportunity to share his perspective on the project and the state of trans rights several months after we finished filming. Thank you to @george_brynmor our Finishing Editor and Colour Grader, and @kumudtseringmusic our Sound Designer 🤗

Thankyou to @visualsbycolleen @winstontjia_ls @tdmhgass and @will.carne for hiring, lending and trusting me with your precious kit. And to @charlie.camera for the pics. 💞

Here’s to slow May mornings — sunlight, birdsong, and the quiet promise of warm croissants in the air. 🥐✨

Breakfast, anyone?☀️

From organic tofu scramble to scrumptious local bacon, loaded banana bread to freshly baked croissants (three-cheese kimchi, anyone?), we’ve got your cravings covered.

Fresh, homemade, and sourced with as few food miles as possible — because good food should feel good, too. ♥️

Thank you for modelling our menu @lightsleeperstudio

More from this week’s accidental series of ‘People holding fabric up’.

This is Olivia Beckwith’s (@storyvesselorg) quilt and some great people from the Hypatia Trust Cheering Group meet this morning. With a welcome appearance from Bobby. 🐾

More on this in my next newsletter - which you could sign up for now! ✍️ Link in my bio.

You could also get ahead of the curve and sign up for the @hypatia_trust newsletter?
