What happens when 20 of Culinary Careers Program’s students come together for three-and-a-half days of immersive culinary training? 🔥 Welcome to Monroe Bootcamp, an annual, live-in culinary immersion at @monroe_university designed to prepare rising high school seniors for C•CAP’s culinary scholarship competitions and the opportunities ahead. Students travel from C•CAP regions across the country to stay in Monroe’s dorms and experience life on a college campus, spending their days rotating through hands-on cooking demonstrations, skills workshops, and full meal-service experiences led by Monroe’s culinary faculty and chefs. 🔪 (@culinaryinstituteofny) The experience kicked off with a warm welcome from Dr. Frank C. ACF Michigan Nationals DUMP!!!❤️ So incredibly proud of @lillianas.kitchen, I’m so happy I got to be her apprentice. I’ve learned so much from her and built a bond I never thought would happen. I’ve gotten to watch this process from the beginning to the end. Can’t wait to see you accomplish even more in the future. The convention was an amazing experience 🩷

This might be my my actual last competition. I am so grateful for my coaches that were there for me every step of the way. Thank you chef @costantino.frank and chef @_yudeltorres for everything you both have done for me during this training camp. Thank you @chef.ldub for helping me with preparing ingredients to making sure I bring my chocolate. This journey was hard and overwhelming but very fulfilling and I am so grateful for all of the support from family to friends. @culinaryinstituteofny #studentpastry

2026 ACF National Convention After months of training, team CINY flew out to Grand Rapids, Michigan to compete in three national categories. Their efforts showed, and the results reflected how much they’ve pushed through this year Congratulations to our Chef of the Year, Yudel Torres CEC CEPC, whose skill set a standard for every chef in the room Rachel Brooks brought home a Silver Medal in the Student Pastry Chef of the Year Lilliana Morales brought home a Gold Medal in the Student Chef of the Year Our support team was there every step of the way, thank you , @rina_.cooks @official_jimeh @jacob_peterson761 Huge thank you to our chef @costantino.frank who was honored at the ceremony with a Presidential Medallion aswell as being inducted into the Emeritus Judge Class of 2026 Til next year! @acf_chefs

Incredible week at ACF Nationals in Grand Rapids, MI! @_yudeltorres is the ACF USA Chef of the Year 2026! @lillianas.kitchen , gold medal, and @rachelbrooks979 , silver medal, are top three student chef and student pastry chef in the nation respectively. And I was honored with a Presidential Medallion as well as being inducted into the Emeritus Judge class of 2026! I am beyond proud of our team and the way they performed!

This was by far the hardest dish I have ever done, as of right now. I am proud to say I took home a silver medal. The dish was a duck and pork sausage pared with a cherrie apple relish, duck shepherds pie, spring vegetables and a duck Jus. Thank you @costantino.frank for giving me this dish. I have learned a lot from this dish. Thank you @_yudeltorres and @jcos15 for giving me pointers on this dish. It helped me a lot. ACF North East Regionals 2026 Hosted at the Community College of Allegheny County, Pittsburgh PA! This year CINY had entries in every category. Bringing home 8 gold medals, a silver and a bronze! We are so proud of our students and this efforts made through this extensive training camp. Our 5 student Freshman Team placed 2nd with a score of 92 points. All bringing home gold medals 🏅! This team produced a high level menu and put on a spectacular preformance. With only being in our program for 6 months, they have a bright future ahead of them. The Student Pastry Chef of the Year competition was a display of pastry excellence! Rachel Brookes, CCAP Chicago Alum scored a silver medal with her tropical dessert platter. Carolina Verdugo, CCAP Arizona Alum scored a bronze medal with her chocolate dessert platter. Student Chef of the Year totaled 6 entries. We went 1st and 2nd with our golden girls Lyric White, CCAP Arizona Alum and Lilliana Morales, CCAP LosAngeles Alum. Lilliana will move on to Nationals in Grand Rapids, MI later this year. Our Chef of the Year @_yudeltorres produced an amazing duck platter and won with a Professional Gold medal and will also continue to the ACF National Convention! None of this could have been possible without the guidance of our Chef, Dean Costantino @costantino.frank . His coaching and support pushed every one of us to do our best in the kitchen. A huge thanks to our 4 apprentices for our core team aswell as our 2 professional apprentices for chef of the year. As well as our training support @jcos15 & @b.radley_x . It’s giving Gold!!!🥇 This weekend I competed in Pittsburgh for Student Chef of the Year, and wow, what a ride! Words can’t explain how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to compete for such a title. It was incredibly close, I came in 2nd by just 0.33 points behind Lilly but even so, I’m so proud of how much I’ve grown over the past few months. Wishing @lillianas.kitchen the absolute best of luck at nationals!! Cooking alongside her has pushed me and made me an even better chef, I couldn’t thank her enough! Huge thanks to my amazing mentors who have stuck beside me and continues to push me through this journey @costantino.frank and @_yudeltorres I couldn’t have done it without you! I’m not finished yet. Let’s get at it!!
