Saturday night was another banger of a Supper Club. I’m the luckiest woman alive to get to work with the people I do. By the end of the night, we’re all a little punch drunk from the work, the adrenaline, and the sheer joy of it all. I keep telling myself not to do more, and then I’m dancing around and making tea for everyone because apparently I just want you all to feel at home. . On October 4, Dance Your Ass Off Dinner at Sweet Antelope is back in West Adams Los Angeles: a 50-minute dance class followed by a three-course farm-to-table dinner with storytelling woven between the courses. The playlist has a theme. The stories have a theme. And the whole point is to take that looseness, laughter and aliveness from the dance floor and let it become something deeper at the table: real connection, real community, and maybe a few conversations that go somewhere beyond “So, what do you do?” Come dance. Come eat. Come tell a story. Come remember that being around other humans can actually feel really fucking good. Yesterday was cute or whatever💅🏻… Got to host some of my favorite gals @shakeitoffwithkb @lilmommadances and their Sat dance crew—getting ready for a disco party, @namasteff_ brought me a new British style Bestie aheyarts—who wears home decor as a bangles👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻…and then got to go frolic with my boo @haus_of_meeshie in her #barnhaus while getting piercings by my libra brother @sevenstonespiercing and multiple tattoos by @balducchitattoo cause that’s what you do, if you’re gonna play hookie.😛 brought my @lilmommadances with me, and my beautiful sis @celiawardwallace came to meet us. Whenever I do anything, my man asks “Did you have fun?” And I’m usually like uggggh, I had a nice time. Not sure it was “fun”. But my shop? The visitors? Hosting? And being hosted? Yes please. And getting to hang with some of most fav people and get new body adornment felt very Libra season…(starting early cuz I’m a Virgo rising 🤣).
