Thank you to my faves @thedykeagendamcr for having me over at @mcrmuseum for a beginners photography workshop, and of course those that came!

It’s very interesting to see people applying bits of advice in such a unique space, especially playing with varied and at times quite difficult lighting!

I’ve included some pictures I took during the practical session, I found myself more drawn to things like reflections and textures which is quite different for me, but it just shows what can be inspired through different settings 🫶🏻

NEVER MEANT 2025 ⭐️⛓️

We’ve been a little quiet lately…

2025 has been an incredible but challenging year. We started Never Meant with no idea where it would go, and we’re endlessly grateful to everyone who’s danced, screamed, and shared these nights with us.

With our home venue closing, we want to stress how vital local grassroots venues are. Mother Mary’s was our home, and we miss it dearly.

We also lost a close friend this year, which reminded us just how important community really is. Never Meant has always stood for community, kindness + diversity, and that hasn’t changed.

So as we say goodbye to 2025, here are some of our favourite moments. From our first ever event all the way to the Climbing Hangar Charity gig in collaboration with @monroe.wav (big up the mandem).

This isn’t the end. Announcements coming soon ⭐️
Until then, support your local bands, venues + creatives.

YEAR OF THE DOLLS ❤️

I'm beyond excited to reveal that I am your October doll in the @yearofthedolls 2026 Charity Fundraiser Calendar...on sale now! 💀

We are raising funds for @the_proud_trust @lgbtfdn and @transmutualaidmanchester so make sure you buy your calendar by heading over to @youbettamerch ✨

It's so important, now more than ever, to spread awareness and support for the trans community and show that we can stand in solidarity and thrive together. Shooting this calendar was an absolute highlight because I got to share it with some amazing people 🏳️‍⚧️

A huuuuuge shout out to @sheisvil for including me in this and for being a diamond for putting this calendar together! Thank you so much!

Photography by @lilvamphoto 📸 You absolutely killed it with these images! Thank you so much, you were such a treat to work with. The first of many shoots I hope!

MANUKAI WRAPPED 🔮🍒🖤

Look, I COULD show you the numbers on a single streaming platform that promotes and advertises for ICE workers but… then we wouldn’t have much fun?!

So much has happened. My second year of being a distributing musician and I gotta say, you all delivered. Because of your support I was able to branch out into some amateur modelling (will absolutely get back into that, super fun! I’ve met so many cool people from that!) and I was given great gigging opportunities all throughout the year.

WE GOT MORE FANART! I love how creative and talented you all are, artists supporting artists. I am often impressed by my own self deprecation, until it literally disables me, yet I find myself amongst the most beautiful and loving creatives. I’ve been in intensive therapy for several months now - I’ve had to relearn a lot of things. How to hug and be hugged, how to listen to myself, how to be angry. But most of all: how to believe myself when I admit what I need. “I need to songwrite” and I believe it! “I need a break” and I believe it! “I need my friends” and I believe it.

How can I possibly not geek over the coolest band in the world? From the beginning these guys cheered me on even when I’m stressed out of my mind. So thank you @thomas_a_b_ , @dylan_hamilton13 , and @leighyuh__ for learning my songs, for learning BY EAR, and for coming to practice exhausted. We’ve got this! Can’t wait for rehearsal tomorrow 🫶🏾

I got a music fund… I’ve been applying behind the scenes for months. And it finally happened. I’m still in shock. I remember getting the email and having to re-read it several times before realising it wasn’t a no. And so I can confidently say there IS more music on the way. THANK YOU @drakemusicorg !!!
