I went to see the exhibition Liminal Light Temporal Space @thenorthwall today by Catherine Ross @liminalstates and @james.elliott.art If you go, it’s really essential to take headphones so you can listen to the sounds recorded on “sound walks” as well as see the evocative photographs of the locations of the walks. To be honest, I have reservations about the way the word “liminal” is commonly used in art schools, but that’s perhaps because I’m a social scientist and so I’m used to the word being used in a very different sense. But regardless of what you call it, the exhibition is an intriguing exploration of the use of sound as well as images to evoke places and stimulate emotional responses to them. Well worth a visit. @brookesfineart #liminal #liminalspaces #liminalspace #soundart

Due to scheduling difficulties Rita Evans @evans.rita original piece is sadly no longer happening next week (we eagerly await for it in the future!) - I’ll also now be performing a solo set.

Don't miss out on all the other exciting happenings during the festival ~ 🔊

Due to scheduling difficulties we're sorry to say that Rita Evans won't be performing at audiograft on the 2nd December, but we're very excited to work together again in the near future.

We're equally as excited to announce that Rob Lye and Beth Shearsby will both be performing solos, and Tim Parkinson's new composition will still be realised by Sharon Phelan, Catherine Ross, Beth Shearsby, Ryoko Akama and Anna Jane Houghton
