This. This is what self-love looks like when it becomes community. 💜 Look at this photo.
*And apologies to those who we missed when we took it after the it ended*

The joy. The freedom. The personalities. The complete permission to show up exactly as we are.

This was taken immediately following our Self Love Ceremony at @barefootandfreeyoga annual festival, and somehow it captures so much of what words struggle to explain.

These humans came together from different places, with different stories, different gifts, different journeys and different expressions of what it means to be a Wellness Warrior.

And we stood together to share something we’ve practiced long before stepping onto this land:

Learning to know ourselves.
Learning to speak kindly to ourselves.
Learning to celebrate ourselves.
Learning to witness another human without asking them to become anything other than who they are.

For more than five years, our Daily Self Love Practice has connected Warriors virtually from around the world. To watch those relationships step out from behind screens, travel across the country, stand beside one another, and collectively offer our Self Love Ceremony to the Barefoot & Free community is a blessing we don’t take lightly.

We are a whole lot of Warriors being unapologetically ourselves.

We think this is a perfect photo after a Self Love Ceremony.

Thank you to every Warrior who brought your heart, your story, your leadership and your light. Thank you to every beautiful human who joined our circle and allowed us to witness you.

And thank you, again, to Barefoot & Free for continuing to give us the space to gather, contribute, and share this practice with your remarkable community.

May we keep creating spaces where people feel safe enough to take up space, brave enough to speak lovingly about ourselves, and free enough to have a little fun in the group photo. 😂💜

This is us.
This is community.
This is Self Love in practice.
This is what is means to be a Warrior
