MARY
HARMONY
(Hale Centre Theatre, Summer 2026)

There are some shows that you perform.

And then there are the ones that quietly change you.

Harmony was the latter.

Coming back to theater this last year after eight years away felt exciting... and a little terrifying. I wasn’t just stepping back onto a stage. I was stepping back into a part of myself I hadn’t visited in a long time.

And what I found was so much more than a production.

I found people who lead with kindness.

Directors who trusted me to help tell this story. Dave—thank you for encouraging me to trust my instincts, stop overthinking every choice, and remember that authenticity will always be more compelling than perfection. That gift extends far beyond the stage. Rob, thank you for your brilliant musical leadership and for your calm, steady confidence in me. And to Lindsey for bringing me joy and making me laugh.

I found castmates who became dear friends.

Artists who showed up with generosity, humility, laughter, and heart. Thank you for making long rehearsal nights feel like home, for celebrating one another, and for creating an environment where everyone felt supported to do their best work.

And then there was MARY.

What a privilege it has been to spend these months with a woman whose quiet strength, compassion, courage, and unwavering love challenged me to become a little more like her. I don’t think I’ll ever hear these songs again without thinking of all that she taught me.

A heartfelt thank you to @brucehsussman for writing such a beautiful and important story, and to @barrymanilowofficial for composing music that so powerfully carries it. What a blessing it has been to help bring @harmonyanewmusical to life.

Thank you to the cast and creative team and those behind the scenes who made this experience so unforgettable.

What a gift this has been.

Thank you for welcoming me back. 🥹🫶🏼

Thank you for trusting me.

Thank you for reminding me that telling stories that move people is one of life’s greatest privileges.

I am walking away from Miss Utah week with such a full heart. Going into my fourth year, all I asked for was good health (iykyk), the chance to be fully present for the experience, and to be the best possible version of myself. I can wholeheartedly say I got all of that and then some.

Competing at Miss Utah isn’t for the weak, and I couldn’t be more grateful for my support system in the audience and at home, the women competing alongside me, and the dedicated volunteers who have become my family over the years.

I’m honored to be leaving with the Runner-Up Evans Scholarship Award, the Bronze Heart Hero Award, and memories I will carry with me forever.

My journey in the Miss Utah Organization hasn’t always been easy, but it has prepared me for success in both my career and my life. I found my purpose through my nonprofit, which began on the Miss Murray stage. Since then, I’ve awarded 17 scholarships to youth across the country to help them pursue their dreams, something I will continue doing for years to come.

I graduated with a degree in marketing thanks in part to the scholarships I earned over the last six years, and I developed many of the skills that led me to pursue a career in the field through my experiences in this organization.

Although this chapter has come to a close, I feel incredibly fulfilled. This week felt very full circle, and I am just so grateful. Without a doubt, it was my favorite Miss Utah week yet.

I can’t wait to continue bringing more women into this organization that has shaped and changed my life, and to continue volunteering my time to help them grow.

Thank you, @missutorg and volunteers, for changing my life and helping mold me into the woman I am today. ❤️

Miss Utah Week! Utah truly has some of the most talented young women and it was so fun to support Alexis as she competed at Miss Utah this past week. I’m so excited to be on the same stage next year.
