She told me she had so many business ideas she didn't know where to start. Pitch decks half-finished. Notes everywhere. Ten new concepts a day. And underneath all of it: Years of expertise, a strong network, and the kind of adaptability that only comes from building a life in multiple countries. She just couldn't piece it all together...yet. Line (@linemovesgc) is Norwegian, has lived in four countries, and spent five years leading brand marketing at a VC fund in Copenhagen before deciding she wanted something of her own a year ago. A lot has happened since we first recorded this call, and now her business is thriving. In this episode she shares what that transition actually looked like. The decision paralysis, and what finally moved her forward. She also talks about what happens when you finally allow yourself to say your dreams out loud to another person. Just that alone is worth the listen. This is the first client story on the podcast (and I probably shouldn't say this, but it's one of my favourites). 🎧 Episode 5 of Business Sparks with Val is out now.

💛” #HybridTraining #HybridAthlete #FitnessCompetition #TrainHard #Running

Languagelearning and music#Maybe I lost, maybe I won... but one thing's for sure: I sang in Spanish and had some fun! 🎵 In today's class, we traded textbooks for microphones to work on our fluency through karaoke#. Frank Sinatra# provided the lyrics, and we provided the heart (and a couple of cracking notes! 🐓). Living like this is 'dying of love'... and laughter! Cuál es esa canción en español que te mueres por cantar en un karaoke pero te da miedo la letra? 🎤👇 ¡La mía es 'Despacito' (nivel experto)! 😂" #SpanishMyWay #LearningSpanish KaraokeNight FrankSinatra SpanishClass"learnspanish spanishteacherpolyglotstudyGramSpanishspanish

Finding a training community when you move to a new place means more than most people realize. It’s not just about keeping your body active. It's about finding people, connection, and a place to belong. 💛 Here, routines, motivation, and new friendships grow, and little by little, the new place starts to feel like home. Training brings us together. No matter where we come from. 🌍 I’m still struggling with my hip and lower back, but I’m working through the challenges with great support and treatment @privonordic with @terjelillemark & @mhalive 🙏🏼 Even though I’m adjusting, training differently, and taking care of my body, I still have clear long-term goals for next year (Remember, I’m only 48 😉). And just as important as the physical work is the mindset. I’ve had plenty of practice in staying positive, patient, and focused, even when things aren’t perfect. It’s a huge part of the journey. Building mental strength, trusting the process, and believing in the small steps forward makes all the difference. 🧠💛 (Yes, @holtekristin taught me this.) A big shout-out to @jhonnyhoger - his box @lkjtrainingbox and all the members for welcoming me with open arms and making me feel truly included. 💛💪 This is also where I recharge and find the energy I need to take care of my family. ✨ Still grateful, still growing, and making the best out of every situation. 💪🏼 #trainingcommunity #findyourtribe #strongertogether #mindsetmatters #trusttheprocess
