Mistakes we Never Made by Hannah Brown
⭐️⭐️ to ⭐️⭐️✨

As a reality TV and Bachelor STAN - when I heard Hannah B was writing a fiction novel, I knew I had to get my hands on it. Nowwww I didn’t love it, I didn’t absolutely hate it. You can tell it’s a debut novel as most parts seemed rushed and unexplained. Right as I got into a scene or a conversation it felt only halfway thought through and the moment was gone before it could even start. Here are some thoughts I had while reading:

⚠️ probably spoilers ⚠️ enter if you dare ⚠️

Is Sybil going to run away with Finn??? (lol looking back at this after finishing)

Wow that loaded hashbrown breakfast burrito sounds like it would SLAP. Extra guacamole, please.

Okkkkay Hannah Brown was on a reality show and it ended badly, so a character had the same fate. I see what you did there, Hannah. I wonder if there are little truths in this book??

Oooh yeah this prom story is laying the foundation. Sybil has never been a good friend to Emma..

Your dad left.. we get it.

I wish Finn would just communicate with her about all of these huge life changes that kept popping up before they get together. If he truly cares about her like he says you would think he would give her SOMETHING.

These people need to tell Jamie what’s going on. I feel so bad for him!!!

If they knew how to use find my friends correctly they would have found her immediately...??? (Coming back to this after finishing and ooooooh that’s why 😂)

Just give up on Sybil already and let the B go to Albuquerque.

“Am I out of your system then?” “yes” 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 JUST TELL HIM HOW YOU FEEL.

So after all that we don’t even get to find out how the wedding ended up?? “That’s a story for another time?!” That’s literally the story for THIS TIME HANNAH. Did I just miss it?? Ugh.

ANNNND why was Sybil in the hospital years before??? that legitimately kicked off the entire story by running Emma’s prom?!!?

I feel like Hannah Brown had big hopes and ideas for this one and they all unfortunately fell flat :/ it was a super short, easy read but I wouldn’t recommend it to someone looking for a romance or romcom.

📚My IG handle in book titles. 🎸

Thank you @katsbibliotheca for the inspiration.
I had so much fun designing this challenge. The books used to spell my handle are some of my favorites that I highly recommend.

Chapters with CHE in CLE came from my love of reading, part of my last name, and my hometown. I have been a reader and an Ohio girl my whole life. Cleveland has been my home for the past 23 years. If you have never visited, you should! It is a great city with some of the most loyal sports fans 🏈⚾️🏀. CLE also has some of the best local bookstores: @firesidebookshop @loganberrybooks and @visiblevoicebooks.

I’ve tagged a few friends, but if you see this and want to try, consider yourself tagged.
