Morning friends. I haven’t seen the sun rise since 2007, but I must share our latest podcast recorded in honor of Steve King. Listen as we review the latest adaptation, Pet Semetary along with a book and movie discussion. *Spoiler alert* in case you’ve been too busy to watch the original or read the book for 30 freakin years, and unsuitable for children and blowhards. I’m going to attempt to put the link in the comments, but I don’t do this often so check the bio if not. You can also follow our podcast @ForFrodopod on twitter along with our network Tvzone podcast for more film/television discussions . #stephenking #petsemetary #stephenkingbooks #podcast #forfrodopodcast #misery #maximumoverdrive #theshining #IT #review #moviecritic

So a while ago I was tagged by @super_stew83 to post up my favourite movie franchises, and so finally here we are. .
.
Included are The Evil Dead franchise, Friday the 13th, George A. Romero's 'Of the Dead' series, Toho's Godzilla series, A Nightmare On Elm Street, the Child's Play/ Of Chucky films, Aliens franchise, and the View Askewniverse; a monica for the interconnected films of Kevin Smith, usually featuring Jay and Silent Bob. .
.
Anyway, if you're reading this please consider yourself tagged and try to post up your own favourite movie franchises... for shits and giggles. .

Horror Movie Mash Up You Wish Existed... .
.
Mine would have to be the Cube trilogy and the Hellraiser franchise simply because when I first started watching the The Cube (1997) I had this random hope that it would turn out that the protagonists were trapped within Labyrinth, also known as hell! .
.
The Cube itself was aesthetically similar to the Lament Configuration in terms of patten and design, and both were cuboid puzzle boxes, only one on a much bigger scale. It would have worked so well! .
.
Anyway, if I tag you in this post, let's see your suggestion for a horror movie mashup you'd love to exist... .

So I was tagged once again by @super_stew83, this time to reveal a film I love that everyone else seems to hate; today I choose Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem! .
.
I know, I know. You hate it. I get you, really, but for me the first AVP was such a let down with the Yautja being portrayed as such cake eaters, so when I saw Wolf in action in this film I was overjoyed! It's just so beautifully brutal! .
.
This 'Predator' is an absolute beast, kicking scores of Xeno asses single handedly, and with the young PredAlien Queen proving every bit the worthy foe, it was cool to see their extremely physical war unwind, not to mention the rather iconic imagery of Xenomorphs and Yautja walking through small town USA... so cool! .
.
It is dumb and loud, and yeah this isn't a patch on the comics, but to me this has everything I love from both franchises, only in the present day... .
.
Anyway, if you find yourself tagged please feel free to post your own beloved film that everyone else seems to dislike! .

2017, what a year for film. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried...both while watching #thesnowman. So to wrap up the year and bury the shit without looking back, what was the worst? For me personally, Fifty Shades Darker can blow. #movies #2017 #badmovies #review #snowman #emojimovie #rings

So I was tagged by @super_stew83 once again, this time to post my three favourite Vampire Movies, and to be honest two of them I instantly knew, and while the third choice took some time to settle on I've gone with Fright Night (1985), The Lost Boys (1987), and 30 Days of Night (2007). .
.
That said, I couldn't help but include a few honourable mentions of some of my other favourites of the bloodsucker genre- and no, you'll NOT find Twilight amongst them! .
.
So my honourable include Afflicted (2014), Innocent Blood (1992), Near Dark (1987), Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992), Vampires (1998), Let the Right One In (2008), From Dusk Till Dawn (1996), Vamp (1986), Cronos (1993), What We Do in the Shadows (2014), Nosferatu (1922), Lifeforce (1985), Blade 2 (2002), Interview With A Vampire (1994), Blood: The Last Vampire (2000), and The Twins Effect (2003). .
.
Anyway, if you've been tagged how about you show me your top three Vampire movies... .
.

I was also tagged recently by @super_stew83 to post five movies people wouldn't expect me to love but totally do! .
.
I'm a pretty big horror fan as I'm sure you'd be well aware of by now, not to mention my love of Godzilla and anime, but few realise that I also harbour a somewhat embarrassing love for bittersweet comedy/dramas (dramadies?) revolving around the trials and troubles of romance and how people mess it up so much more than they get it right. .
.
So my five surprising picks are (500) Days of Summer (2009), Music & Lyrics (2007), Swingers (1996), Sideways (2004), and Barney's Version (2010). .
.
Anyway, if I tag you it means I'd love to see five of your surprising flicks you enjoy that most would never guess... .
