A delightful afternoon of Sashiko Visible Mending and hand-stitching @thequilttree ! Sometimes it is scary to travel and meet new people. With beautiful displays, welcoming host shops, and always brave and friendly students it becomes a joyous adventure! Thank you all! ♻️🪡👖✂️💙

We don’t like to brag - but we will. The Quilt Tree cleaned up at the Brownstone Quilt Show this weekend. Especially the Weinsteins. Maria and Mark each took two ribbons. Therese’s Spin Drift (made in a class with Maria) took a ribbon. And Therese reunited with Spin Drift classmate Setsuko. So. Much. Fun.

And our booth was pretty cute. As were the peeps in it. It was a great weekend.

So proud of The Quilt Tree representing at the Warwick Quilt Show this weekend. So. Many. Awards. Peggy Tumarello’s fabulous appliquéd flowers won a first place ribbon! Mark Weinstein rocked it with his fabulous guitar triptych. Maria Weinstein entered two quilts and won two awards. Of course. And Lisa’s Spin Drift snagged a couple of awards. We have so many talented people, don’t we? #thequilttree
