Use AI to support the personal, not replace it.

Jesse Dowdle, our CPO, says the recognition you carry with you for your whole career comes from someone you trust, who saw you and said so with real feeling.

A form letter that reads “13 years of service, here’s a piece of paper”? That can be a de-motivator.

AI can do the work. It can’t do the caring.

POV: It’s your responsibility to make sure employees have human moments.

Long stretches of heads-down. Deep focus is great for the code, but it’s hard on connection. When people go days without a real conversation, they start to feel like a function instead of a person.

That adds up fast. 52% of workers feel lonely at work (Motivosity 2026 research).

A human moment doesn’t have to be big. It’s a teammate calling out the fix that saved the release. It’s a manager asking about someone’s weekend and actually listening. It’s a thank-you that names the specific thing someone did.

None of it takes long. All of it matters.

That’s why Motivosity is built for human connection. Most recognition tools automate rewards. Motivosity builds connection, and Motivosity users are 4x less likely to feel lonely at work (Motivosity 2026 research).

AI can do the work. It can’t do the caring. That part’s on us.

Who on your team needs a human moment this week?

We did a poll in Motivosity. MVers voted. Zero people stayed neutral.

The final ranking:
🥉 Almond Joy
🥈 Boston Baked Beans
🥇 Circus Peanuts

The comments were even better than the votes. People defended their picks, roasted each other’s taste, and a few folks we hadn’t heard from in weeks jumped in just to say “you’re all wrong.”

A silly poll gets people talking across teams, offices, and time zones. It takes about two minutes to set up, and it does more for culture than another all-hands ever will.

Most recognition tools automate rewards. Motivosity builds connection. Sometimes that looks like a thank-you. Sometimes it looks like a heated debate about Charleston Chew.

Happy birthday Lisa! She is always on the go. She is an amazing mom and fun grandma. An incredible woman who is taking the corporate world by storm. I am so lucky we found each other and she chose me.

Some wins are too good to keep to yourself. 📲

When a manager or peer takes a moment to say “thank you, and here’s exactly why,” people want to share it. Mom just happens to have the best display space in the house.

Who’s the first person you’d send your appreciation to?

1 million views. We did it. 🎉

We set a big goal for Q3: 1 million organic views across our social channels. Today we crossed the line as a team!

Every view traces back to a team that showed up for each other.

Here’s the part we love most. We celebrated every step along the way. Each viral idea got an achievement in Motivosity.

Teammates recognized each other for the bold ideas and on camera participation. That kept the energy up when 1 million still felt far away.

Big goals feel lighter when your people see your work and cheer you on. That’s what recognition does. It turns a solo grind into a team win.

Thank you to everyone who watched, liked, commented, and shared. And thank you to our team for proving that people go further when they feel appreciated.

On to Q4. 🚀

“Drop a tater tot down the hatch” was on the list of complete nonsense in a meeting just to see who noticed. 🫣

The best answer “I just thought you were being you!”

This is a team with psychological safety. A team comfortable enough to laugh with each other in a room full of executives and managers. They are safe to be themselves, nonsense jargon and all!

Teams that laugh together speak up more. They challenge ideas. They admit mistakes faster. They stick around longer. They are happier at work!

That kind of trust gets built in the small moments. A quick shoutout after a tough week. A manager who notices the work behind the work. Recognition that’s frequent, specific, and real.

That’s what Motivosity is for. Not gift cards for the sake of gift cards. Connection that makes people feel like they actually belong here.
