Rudd Resources recently joined our client AMARA in celebrating a bold new chapter: a new name, a new brand and a renewed expression of its mission, all shaped by the expertise of our creative and content professionals. Formerly known as the Grand Victoria Foundation, AMARA stands for A Movement Activating Repair and Abundance in Illinois, funding Black-led and Black-serving organizations across the state. In renaming itself, @amaraillinois is honoring the grant-making journey it has been on for years, recognizing possibility within Illinois’ 81 Black population centers and forging a bold philanthropic path as the nation’s largest funder of its kind. The #Rudders were honored to help guide the AMARA team to its new identity. This nine-month process was handled by Nicole Akoukou Thompson, Skkyler Ofoedu, Jelani McEwen, Briana Gipson-Fleming, Lili Silva, Meghan Haynes and others, in collaboration with Lisa Cain Design. #RuddersAtWork #ClientNews #Naming
