Happy Pride Month! At UIA Talent Agency (@uiatalent), we believe in celebrating authenticity, visibility, and the powerful stories our clients bring to the stage and screen. This June, we’re honoring Pride with #PrideFridays, featuring incredible LGBTQIA+ artists and allies from our roster every week. Each Friday, clients will share personal reflections in response to the prompt: “I’m proud because…” We’re honored to hold space for their voices and celebrate all the ways pride shows up — onstage, onscreen, and in life. Stay tuned and celebrate with us. 🌈✨ #UIATalent #PrideMonth #LGBTQIA #Allies #PrideFridays #ImProudBecause

I literally felt my heart swell when some pictures appeared as ‘Facebook Memories.’ of my working with IDEAS as a teaching artist. Interactive Drama For Education And Awareness In The Schools) was helmed by one of the greatest influences in my life @lisadennettactor and I was privileged to teach with her organization for many years & in every borough of Manhattan. Lisa arduously trained us to work with underserved communities using theatre. These are kids who may have been left sitting in corners, in wheelchairs, in homeless shelters - to never be exposed to the arts. She made it happen and my heart grew enormously. The resounding difference it made in countless lives is priceless. I will never witness anything so beautiful, so challenging, so heartbreaking and so inspiring. The arts are the greatest communicator. The greatest healer. They build a bridge to empathy & awareness. Thank you Lisa & IDEAS!

I’m honored to have been the voice of / interpreter for so many talented Deaf artists. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to have my debut. I owe a special thanks to @azulbebey for teaching me how to be the best teammate/accomplice that I can be. Your advice was so helpful. I look forward to working with all of you again someday soon! 🙏
