I’ll have more to say on this soon, but guys I’m opening a pottery studio @fordcitypotters in Windsor, Ontario, in a neighborhood called Ford City, mere blocks from where I spent the first ten years of my life, partnering with my genius teacher @g_potspottery who got me through a pandemic and over a broken wrist, and you can change directions in your 50s and no one can stop you. Truly. We hope to open late April, but you can follow our adventures by signing up for our newsletter on www.fordcitypotters.com, and where I’ll be blogging as well. About what? About pottery, and the neighborhood, and Windsor’s incredible renaissance, and how you can change course in your 50s and call yourself an artist any time you want to.

It’s coming along!!! But we still have a lot to do @ the Ford City #potterystudio, finishing the space (thank you @michaeldifazio.reclaimartistry), building all the tables, installing kilns, taking delivery of @potterysupplyhouse’s new wheels (10!) AND posting the #potteryclass signups. We’re holding off until we are 100% sure we’re ready—so give us a couple more weeks.
