Feeling stuck? In your career, with your body, in your confidence, or after a breakup?

Lisa was stuck too. She didn’t want to do anything about it, but she knew that if she didn’t, nothing was ever going to change. So she gave herself 30 days.

Tomorrow @lisalsun is sharing exactly what she did, how she set it up, how she tracked it, and why the outcome mattered a lot less than she thought it would.

Where do you feel most stuck right now: career, body, confidence, or love? Tell us below.

New episode of In Confidence drops tomorrow. Follow so you don’t miss it.

Everyone talks about managing up. Almost no one talks about managing higher‼️

Jenny Wood spent 18 years at Google, and her advice is simple: meet your boss’s boss at least twice a year. Then pick two or three of your boss’s peers, the ones who have influence and who you actually like, and find a reason to work with them. Ask for mentorship, partner on a project, or offer to present to their team.

If you want a promotion, these are the people in the room when it gets decided.

🧐Have you ever reached out to your boss’s boss? Tell us how it went.

Pushy, bossy, selfish. What if those aren’t flaws to fix?

Our guest Jenny Wood once pried open subway doors in the middle of a blizzard to chase a stranger, because she’d rather be called reckless than live with regret. Thirteen years later, they’re still married.

Jenny spent 18 years at Google, and in her book Wild Courage she makes the case for reclaiming the traits women get told make us unlikable. We talk about how to say no without guilt and move through fear.

Which one have you been called? Tell us below.

Stop saying sorry when you haven’t done anything wrong.

Somewhere along the way, sorry stopped being an apology and became a reflex. A flinch. And every time you say it, you’re teaching your brain that you made a mistake even when you did it.

In the new episode of In clConfidence, @lisalsun is sharing the eight things to say instead, so you can own your value without over apologizing.

How many times have you said sorry today? Be honest.

We’re reliving your favorite moments from Season 4 and we’re starting off with communications expert, @jessicachenpage !

Saying it once is not enough. Research shows you need to repeat something seven times for it to stick. So if you’ve been waiting to be noticed after asking once, raising your hand once, or saying it once — that’s why it’s not working.

Visibility is not a moment. It’s a strategy!
