By safely switching off the GPS when there is sufficient sea room, crew members can observe how their specific bridge configuration responds.

Because every bridge setup is different, a GPS failure can trigger a wide chain reaction. Testing this in slow time allows the team to take notes and understand system behaviour calmly, preventing panic when 7 or 8 alarms suddenly start shouting at you in the middle of the night.

Today, my little girl turns two.

She’s my biggest fan and my most enthusiastic promoter, though at two, she has no idea what promotion means. She simply shows up with all her love, curiosity and joy.

I could not be prouder of the little person she is becoming. She’s the version of me I wish I’d been: brave, open-hearted and completely herself.

What an incredible turnout! 🇲🇨✨

We have been completely blown away by the response to our Women in Yachting breakfast in Monaco. Over 100 women from across the superyacht industry joined us ans @p3_marine for coffee! ☕️⚓️

It still blows our minds that what once started as a small group of friends supporting each other has turned into a WhatsApp group of over 270 women—providing ongoing support, a space to connect, share advice, and collaborate.

The community has even expanded into two active regional branches in the South of France and Palma!

A massive thank you to all the women who came along. Watching this network grow and seeing these amazing women come together is truly inspiring.

A new chapter begins

We're excited to officially announce that @navigatx has been acquired by @dsnmltd

In this video, our Directors David Store and @liscey talk about what the acquisition means and why the two businesses are a natural fit.

As the Hardware Division of dsnm, we’ll bring together NavigatX’s expertise in hardware supply, installation and refits with dsnm’s established software and technical services, creating a more complete offering for the vessels and crews we support.

We’d also like to thank everyone who has supported NavigatX along the way. Our clients, partners, suppliers and team have all played a part in getting us to this point.

Another brilliant Women in Yachting event!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the @havenbarrestaurant in Lymington on Monday.

What started as a small gathering of friends has grown into a thriving network of over 200 women across the industry sharing updates, news and everyday advice. It makes us so happy to see subgroups now popping up in different countries, like those in France and Mallorca, allowing women to connect locally for their own lunches and events!

While we can't always get everyone in the same room, events like this are a wonderful reminder of the strong, supportive community we're building together.
