What does blue taste like? How about red or yellow?

On 25 September, join us for a very special guided tasting with @the_taste_curators, a Brooklyn-based wife duo who inspire joy through the connections between food and design.

@lishsteiling is an Emmy and James Beard award winning culinary producer whose career began in restaurants before she became a food stylist and recipe developer for Food Network, The New York Times, and Gourmet magazine. @abbeylcook is a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies, celebrated for her sharp visual eye and cultural storytelling. She serves as the US trend editor for Trend Bible and a design contributor for TABLE Magazine.

Inspired by their cookbook series, Palate Palette, which merges the flavour palates of food with the colour palettes of design, guests at this event will indulge in bites and cocktails developed to taste precisely like certain colours.

(Note: All food and drink will be vegetarian, but unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any other dietary requirements at this particular event.)

Tickets on our Eventbrite page, at the link in bio ✨🌈 Red, yellow, and blue books laid out flat

This savory cheese and veggie loaded toast was inspired by our recent trip to London where seasonal produce shined and toasts were abundant. Read about our favorite spots in London and get the recipe in our latest Substack. Link in bio

A recap of the cookbook club we did with @bindingagents is our feature in our May newsletter. 50 people cooked from our red, yellow and purple Palate Palette cookbooks and got to experience food through color and vise versa. We have some Philly recs thrown in there too. Link in bio to sign up!

Another lovely day styling for @tamronhallshow last week! This time, I got to make @tromboneshorty ‘s “Easy Shrimp Boil” and @luispouschef ‘s “Sojito” and “Off The Tree Coconut” mocktails, look picture perfect for TV.

And, what a lovely surprise to see my favs @turkeyandthewolf and @laurenagudo ! Predictably, there was a line for Mason’s sandwiches even at the studio. 🥪 😂

Can’t wait for the next season!! 😍

Food and Fashion: while in London we checked out the new home store of fashion designer JW Anderson (currently creative director of his label and Dior) and synchronicity worked its magic, with a perfectly lined up carrot and radish just like Lish’s tattoos! This store encouraged exploration around food and fashion while learning personal stories behind some of Jonathan’s collaborations. We want more stores like this!

Happy birthday to my stylish wife @lishsteiling who lights up this world and fills our bellies with love! I can’t wait to see what unfolds in your next trip around the sun, but I know it will be surrounded with lots of bubbles and Manhattans to celebrate the things you do…big, small and all the in betweens 🥂🥃
