: P A I L :

Thinking of all those navigating pregnancy and infant loss today - those who never got to bring their babies earthside, whose babies were born sleeping, and those who said goodbye far too soon.

Our babies leave literal imprints in us that time cannot erase. They become part of our bodies and our being. I love the thought that we may carry pieces of our babies with us long after they are gone.

Today, I’m remembering my three babies who never made it earthside, and honouring Zeynah’s life, today and always as she'll forever be my baby.

Four babies, each a part of me.

However your story of loss looks, your baby matters and Your grief matters. You'll always have a space to share with me.

We are mothers forever, carrying our babies in ways the world may not always see, but that we will always know. 💜

✨ Chapter 31. ✨

Thirty-one.

Happy 5th birthday to Little Bean Foundation! 🦋

Another year older, a little wiser, and a little more protective of the person I am becoming.
If the past few years have taught me anything, it’s that life can change in ways you never expect. You can make plans, picture your future, and believe you know what your next chapter will look like, only for life to take you somewhere completely different.

I’ve experienced moments that changed me forever. I’ve had to find strength in places I didn’t know existed, make peace with things I may never fully understand, and learn how to keep moving forward while carrying things that not everyone can see.

I’ve learned that healing isn’t linear, growth isn’t always visible, and not every battle needs to be explained. Sometimes, the greatest progress happens quietly, behind the scenes, when you’re simply trying to find your way back to yourself.

At 31, I’m learning to give myself more grace. To protect my peace. To stop feeling the need to explain every decision, prove my worth, or make everyone understand my journey.

I’m learning that it’s okay to outgrow certain versions of yourself, certain expectations, and even certain dreams. Sometimes, making room for what’s meant for you requires letting go of what you thought your life would be.

I am proud of the woman who has made it here. The one who has loved deeply, felt deeply, lost deeply, and somehow continued to find beauty in the world. The one who keeps creating, dreaming, showing up, and finding reasons to believe that there is still so much good ahead.
I don’t have everything figured out, and maybe that’s okay. I am entering this new chapter with a heart that has been through a lot, a spirit that continues to persevere, and a hope that refuses to disappear.

Here’s to 31. To new beginnings, unexpected blessings, meaningful connections, quiet victories, genuine happiness, and a life that feels as beautiful on the inside as it may look on the outside.

May this be the year I stop simply surviving certain seasons of life and truly begin to enjoy the life I’m building. 🤍

Cheers to 31. 🥂✨

Happy 2nd birthday to my youngest baby. When you don't have your daughter's party to plan or presents to wrap you can only try to honour her with joy. This journey would be way harder without the other loss moms in my life who have held me, cried with me, cracked dark ass jokes, rode shotgun to gatherings, and always say my baby's name. In this shit club, at least we have each other. Thank you to my angel aunties for remembering Sibelle 🎂♥️🪽#2ndheavenlybirthday #lossmama #griefjourney #angelaunties #holdspace

What a beautiful day🙏 (français à suivre dans les commentaires)

We gathered in commemoration of #InternationalBereavedMothersDay through our annual Urban Retreat, this year held at the National Music Therapy Institute such a warm and welcoming space.

I’ve been doing this work for many years, and what we experienced during the music therapy session was truly special, deeply personal, profound, moving, and full 🎶 of 🎵 music! Thank you, Valérie, for the care, intention, and heart you put into this space.

None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of @desiree.mcgraw_deputee . Your ongoing commitment to this work continues to make spaces like this possible.

Thank you, Suzanne, President of the Institute, for welcoming us so warmly into such a beautiful, light-filled space.

Thank you to @iamoneishalewis and the @littlebeanfoundation for the meaningful gifts offered to participants, thoughtful gestures that carried so much care.

And finally, thank you to the mothers who were there today. While this is a space no one ever wishes to be part of, your courage, your strength, your vulnerability, and your presence are deeply inspiring. It is truly a privilege to support and learn from you.

My energy is low, but my heart is so full.
This is collective work. We are always stronger together🖤

I don’t just speak about transformation—I live it, serve through it, and help others walk in it every day. My journey has been one of turning pain into purpose, using my voice to uplift, heal, and empower—especially for those who feel unseen, unheard, and in need of hope.
Through my work in ministry, counseling, advocacy, and community service, I’ve dedicated my life to creating safe spaces where lives are restored, women are strengthened, and purpose is awakened.

Dear William,

You are in the wind
That blows through my hair
and cools my face with the soft breeze

You are in the trees
Where the little ladybug crawls
and readies its wings to fly away

You are in the sky
The beautiful blue sky
with white clouds sprinkled on top
and a rainbow smeared on top like icing

You are everywhere,
my sweet William.
In places I never imagined you’d be.
You show up when I least expect it,
but I think it’s because I carry you in my heart.

You are missed and so loved.

Love,
Your mama
