❤️‍🔥 We have been so proud to align with @taranakiwomensrefuge @taranakiwomensrefugepopup over the past months…but it all built to this. A bunch of awesome locals, Fitstop members and from @move_the_weight getting together to form a human chain and move EIGHT TONNES (you heard that right) of clothing from CBD to the racecourse 😳 🤯

✨ ✨ Extra special mention the team @symons_group for bringing the truck and their time to help make this so much easier for the ladies @taranakiwomensrefuge

🥰🥰 It feels good to give back and what a cause to do so! Thankyou to our amazing members for doing this out of the goodness of their heart and a cup of coffee ☕️

Next up… @taranakiwomensrefugepopup make sure you get down there and support!

A very wet rainy day in Fern Whare called for our specialist fire makers to crank up the fire - yip, in the rain - and cook up some delicious plant-based hot chocolate to share with each other.

Before that, our primary learners whittled away the early part of the day, literally, with their new whittling kits. After learning the safety aspect of the job, the children showed such focus and determination towards their mahi/work. There was a wonderful, calm atmosphere under their self-constructed shelter - it seems that whittling calms the body and focuses the mind, all while increasing a connection to the natural world!

Special deliveries! 📦

Each of our primary learners recently received their own special learning box, full of new resources to continue their learning at home.

Our primary team have been out and about making the contactless deliveries, and look to have had a lot of fun doing it too…

“It was so heartwarming delivering these kits to our learners. One of my favourite days as a teacher!” - Whaea Kat

Your dedication is appreciated, team! 💚
