A clip from candid conversation with my mentor Matt Gay…

One moment, I was teaching fitness classes— the next, I was in a car crash that left me with a cervical disc herniation, bulges, severe bruising, and so much more with a body in pain. That was just the beginning of my journey. But even in the darkest moments, I felt God’s presence guiding me through my healing journey. 🙌🏼✝️

With faith in the Lord, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and the influence of nutrition, I began to heal—body, mind, and spirit. It wasn’t easy, but through God’s strength and grace, I was able to transform my pain into purpose and grow in knowledge. 💫

If you’re struggling, trust that God can bring restoration and healing in ways you never imagined. His love, wisdom, and strength never fail. 🙏

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.” ~ Matthew 22:37 NIV

I did some research into what Jesus was communicating when He spoke these words, and it gave me a deeper understanding of what it truly means to love God. The Greek word Agapē (love) describes a deliberate, self-giving love rooted in commitment. It is not just about how we feel, it is also a decision of the will.

❤️ Heart → Your desires, emotions, and choices.
✨ Soul → Your whole life, your identity, and who you are at your core.
🧠 Mind → Your thoughts, understanding, and the way you see and process the world.

Loving God with all your heart, soul, and mind means choosing Him as your highest priority. It means giving Him your full devotion, surrendering every part of who you are to Him, and making Him the center of your life.

Pastor @adalis_shuttlesworth recently said in a message about abiding: “Loyalty is the decision to remain when your feelings want to leave. If you want sustained fruit it will take faithfulness. Staying committed regardless of your circumstances, regardless of your emotions, regardless of the conveniences in your life.”

When you love the Lord, you’ll desire to be loyal to Him. It is more than just saying we love God or feeling His presence in a moment. It is choosing Him daily, choosing loyalty, in our decisions, our thoughts, our desires, and the way we live.

To love God with our all means holding nothing back. 🙌🏽 ✝️ ❤️ “Oh, for You are the center of it all. My heart belongs to You. My Savior, all in all. You’re the one I hold on to. For the beauty of Your name. My soul will live to say. Jesus, I love You. Oh, how I love You...”

2021, I embarked on growing my knowledge with a desire to help people more. I revamped my website & will include these new offerings in Q1 of 2022. AFPA Certified (3x’s): Holistic Health Coach, Health & Wellness Coach, and Holistic Nutritionist. Pumped Up Strength instructor.
.
I started a job Health Coaching with a Christian company. Which has been great, we grow together spiritually & educationally with the common goal of serving Jesus.
.
As my credential list grew I didn’t want to appear as bragging when I stated my accomplishments. So I quite frankly, I keep quiet till now about it. I expressed that to my best friend @lcala236, who encouraged me, told me I wasn’t bragging, & I earned them. If you don’t have a best friend like that I’d highly recommend praying for one! She is a blessing! Love you Lesa! ❤️
.
I didn’t & don’t accomplish anything on my own. As my shirt says, “I don’t do it for the likes. I do it for the well done” (Matthew 25:21). All praise, all glory, all honor is due to His name. All of my accomplishments mean nothing if the Lord isn’t in them & I don’t use them to serve His Kingdom.
.
It is Jesus who gave me the passion, that brings me to tears when I think of His people who need breakthroughs, spiritual & physical health to thrive. I dove into learning about the Holy Spirit, spiritual warfare, prayer, calling, giftings, talents, faith over fear, & more. If you want to know God & live with His power, you have to know His Word. Satan has no power over you, your mind, your body, etc... Jesus has already defeated Him. The devil has no legal authority over a believer.
.
While we are still on this earth we are called to steward our bodies & talents well. It is a requirement of us from the Lord.
.
The Lord has given me a passion to help the overwhelmed conquer spiritual, mental, & physical barriers to wellness. ✝️ 2022 let’s be strong of mind, body, & spirit of the Lord dangerous to the devil’s kingdom.

During quarantine last month I did something... After 6 hours of a virtual training and a passed exam, I am now a certified #TRXtrainer and #TRXambassador. 💪🏼 If you’re not familiar with TRX it is a suspension trainer that is utilized for total resistance training, developed by former U.S. Navy seal Randy Hetrick.
.
This certification was inspired by my fav chiropractor Dr. Gil Logatto who post car crash (2015) suggested it’d be a great investment for therapy and rebuilding muscle/cardiovascular strength. If you’re not familiar with my car crash, it resulted in injuries of a cervical disc herniation, 2 bulges, and sternum/thoracic bruising. Rather than utilizing an epidural shot, the Lord lead me on a journey to healing holistically. Prayer, exercise and therapy through various methods, along with significant adjustments in my nutrition lead to healing for my body. I’ll share more of those methods later...
.
TRX has been a great addition for bodyweight training at home, on the go, and in the gym! I’m excited to add this to my arsenal of fitness certifications. The more I know, grow, and learn the better I can help you! 🤓
.
Thank you @abbieappel @irenemccormick3 @randyhetrick for the ability to do this with you all and welcoming me to the #trxfamily, it was an amazing experience! 🤗

So I know a few have realized I took a break from social media posting, sharing, and commenting. As the media was giving me extreme anxiety with all the posts, people sharing news (not all truth), memes, etc... I felt it necessary to a break and spend time in the truth.
.
I became super sensitive to the war within to stay at peace and the war on the outside to the point of tears a few times. I had to pull back and retreat just as Jesus, Moses, and many others in the Bible have when they needed to hear God above all the world’s chaos and noise. Every time someone called this quarantine the “new normal” it set off irritably, anxiety, and distress in my spirit.
.
As I sought the Lord, the Holy Spirit began to reveal why. The Lord never designed us for isolation, we were designed for relationships with Him and others. Community, unity, and desiring peace are in our DNA. Division, confusion, chaos, sickness, and fear are devices of the enemy. They are the only tools in his arsenal because God is all powerful and all knowing. Truth is, this isn’t our “new normal” because this world is not our eternal home, Heaven is. #TheFutureIsJesus ✝️
.
There will always be a war within and throughout the world as Biblical prophecy plays out. As believers we were never created for “normal”. We were designed for extraordinary, as we were created in the image and likeness of the Lord. An image that the enemy envies and seeks to devour. Which is why we must be alert, sober, in the Word, and praying at all times. 🙏🏼 You and I are warriors! Don’t let the enemy deceive you. Our strength lies in our daily relationship with the Lord. Our weapons are the Bible, our words (speaking life not death), worship, prayer, community, love, and unity. ❤️
.
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." ~John 16:33 🕊
