When your whole wedding is a vibe... 🤩

Grace & Andrew could not have picked a better setting for their day. Dandy is already packed with so much personality: vintage furniture, incredible lighting, plants, texture, and all those little corners that feel like they were made to be photographed.

Add in the florals, candlelight, pops of color, and an amazing couple like Grace & Andrew, and everything just worked together. It was the perfect backdrop for their love, chemistry, and seriously cool style- romantic, a little moody, a little playful, and completely them.

There are plenty more photos coming from this day with all the people and candid moments that made it extra special, but this post is for the VIBE ✨

A micro wedding in an antique store 🕯️

💡They took a few minutes, sitting in the warm haze of the store, to hand write their vows to each other into custom vow books. Guests seated in chairs sunbathed in October light streaming from a skylight.

🎻A string quartet, dark academia, reception crafts, and fancy & fearless (and their fuzzy guinea pigs) were their vibes.

Most importantly they wanted “a day in the life of”, celebrating all the things that bring them joy, and all the people the cherish most. This day was, most ardently, authentically, them.   The Couple: @jademagpie & Mike

For those who missed my recent story, I am thrilled to announce our next photography workshop!

How Much: $50 +tax

Have you always been inspired by the old masters of photography but have never known where to start? During this 4 hour workshop we will break down several different lighting techniques to create those iconic Hollywood Glamour images. We will explore hard light and soft diffused light, and everything in between. After the workshop you will get an opportunity to try out your skills in one of the most beautiful event spaces in Milwaukee. Filled with vintage scenes and backdrops, Dandy is a glorious setting to create some beautiful art.

Models come dressed in your favorite vintage attire. This can be everything from a. elegant dress with sequins to rustic cowboy/cowgirl jeans, torn shirt, and cowboy hat.

Last night, it came to life 🔥

A room full of people who came to stand inside the world before the world was ready to show itself.

We premiered the trailer. We opened up the build; the costumes, the props, the panel, the footage no one had seen.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and made the first look feel like a first step. This is the beginning of something bigger.
