Happy international film photography day! 🎞️ 🥂

I don’t know about you, but my year wouldn’t be the same without this pocket of analog magic, international friendship, and unbridled creativity, so I invite you to the 6th edition of Make This a Double.

This year’s theme: BETWEEN THE LINES. Look for the visible and invisible geometries, the patterns, the structures that connect and divide our worlds. Or find the quiet spaces in between conversations, the shapes in the shadows, the hidden parts of our lives that only analog can capture. Go graphic and architectural, or soft and metaphorical. Your choice, your playground, the only rule is to have fun

All details are in the slides above, in the form (link in bio) or in a note in our Lomo home

Good news: zines for 2024 and 2025 are wip and they will be available before a single roll is sent out for this year’s edition. Thank you for your patience 🫣🥰

Thank you for being here! 📷 ♥️ ☀️

Kodak Ultramax 400 // Heart pimped by @lizandercamera

As a huge fan of Liz, I wanted to buy the magazine that published a few of her photos.
She offered me to mail it and asked me if I would be interested in shooting a Film that she already pre-exposed.

“Damn right I’m in” I said

It was in the middle of the summer, I was about to leave for France, and thought it would be funny to travel with the film, kind of Amelie Poulain style (with the garden gnome, got it?)

Anyway, I started shooting in Munich (the cars and a few flowers), in my apartment (the Can vinyl, yes I have great tastes thanks), and the rest is in Paris (you maybe recognise the big tower? A print given away to the first one who write me the name of this tower)

I didn’t know it was hearts, I had no clue how the photos would look like, it was just a super cool experience and I’m proud to say I share a film with one of my idols.

Bonus fact : I gave the film to @pellicule_photo_com (big up big love) to develop and scan and they were kind of a bit mad at me because of the hearts all over, the scanner struggle to find the frames 🥲

Gear : Minolta 700si and mostlly 50mm 1.7
But also a 35-100mm
And a tone of passion
