Chuck Patterson @chuckpatterson is more than just a guy that throws himself over the ledge in big waves and big mountains … he loves the communities that he is a part of in all of the extreme (and not so extreme) sports he’s been a part of for decades.

One of those communities is the adaptive athlete world… and absolutely Chuck lights up when he talks about working with people that charge, never say no, and go hard no matter what challenges they are facing.

If you know Chuck then you know that he has incredible energy that both lights up a room and inspires people … to do rad things and to put on a big fat smile while they are doing it. That is one of Chuck’s super powers…

“Tahoe Mentality”

Jay Wild talks about the makeup of their mountain community and how the @tahoewaterman mission is to expose that community to all that the lake provides… well above that of just being a boating lake.

Today, because of @jaywild_tahoe and @anikwild and their facility and programs @tahoewaterman there is a robust waterman community made up of adults, kids, adaptive athletes and hammers… all at 6200 feet above sea level.

@morganhoesterey went from D1 collegiate swimming at the University of Hawaii and very close to the Olympics to a full blown ocean life aquatic... Free diving, surfing, prone and stand up paddling, Hawaiian channels paddled, adventure racing, underwater photography, sharks, and even got her captains license.
She can do it all. And she does it all very very well.

Morgan Hoesterey @morganhoesterey is rad… and she is more comfortable in the water than on land.

While she claims to be a “clumsy giraffe” on terra firma 🤣 she’s an incredible dolphin in the water; absolutely at home in the ocean and wildly accomplished.

Whether it was her D1 collegiate swimming career, stand up paddling across all of the Hawaiian islands channels, swimming with and shooting photos of sharks or teaching people the art of free diving and CO2 tolerance in her business of @waterlogged_adventures and @watergroms Morgan has an incredible background in adventure and fun.

To this end, Morgan pursues “Type 2 Fun” adventures and wants you to come along with her.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year QB family…
The Terrell family has been having a lot of fun going through the video archives from the “Golden Age” of SUP and we realized not enough people have seen them. So over the next few months we want to release them to you. Quickblade is a family above anything else and these videos beautifully encapsulate that. Special thank you to Chris Aguilar @finfilmcompany for all he did in capturing these moments and telling our story. So stay tuned for some of the adventures from over the years with the QB team. There’s a whole lot of training hard, going fast, and most importantly having fun. Willie Reichenstein @kanumeister talks about his path to and his experiences in the Olympics @olympics

He shares what it was like at Montreal in 1976 and Moscow in 1980 which were not all rainbows and unicorns… but still an incredible experience and accomplishment.

Willie is awesome and still paddling and cycling hard, 6 days a week. The Olympic spirit and the mojo to perform at that level has not left the building!

One of the nicknames applied to Jimmy Terrell @jimmytqb due to his innovative mind and his ability to turn wild ideas into reality. And highly effective reality.

The @qbpaddles #stingray is the most recent evolution, or revolution, in paddle technology; and it’s being adopted at a fever pace.
