SWINE 🐽 I never got around to sharing this routine from years ago and I thought ‘why not now!?’ Truly one of my favorite pieces and the best group of kids to create on. We had SO MUCH FUN and I miss them all with my whole heart. Cheers to these now big kids and their @starpowertalent Battle of the Stars win back in ‘23!

•my heart could BURST 🥹🩵•

WOO y’all! It has been one heck of a season and our Lakyn, aka GOOSE, has for sure been through it… but talk about the resilience, perseverance, & determination she has had… it makes my heart burst with pride! I am SO proud! I’m sure I sound like a broken record but I don’t even care because THIS GIRL Y’ALL 😭…

I will never ever forget this season of life WITH HER, WATCHING HER. Through this season I’ve watched God change her, challenge her, and carry her. His love has been such a constant through it all. She very easily could have let the darkness overcome her LIGHT, but she did not! Never for a single moment did she waver… she made lemonade out of those lemons AND then some 🍋.

She has grown SO much this season, in dance YES BIG TIME, but in so so many other ways too. For those who think we are cray cray for doing the competitive dance life… spending the money and time that we do because it’s “just dance”… it’s SO much more than that. @rcdancecenter.conway is her HOME away from HOME! The way that the teachers, staff, dancers, and parents rallied around us and our girl through losing everything can’t really be put into words 😭. BUT I can promise you this.. if you just need a dance studio.. then this probably isn’t the place for you.. BUT if you need a DANCE FAMILY this is the place to be! Love you ALL dearly🫶🏼!

•what a weekend in TULSA, OK for GOOSE’S last Regional Competition of the season… up next Recital & NATIONALS here we come 🤩🩵•

I’m already so sad thinking about seeing these amazing dances for the last time 😭! I can’t wait to share them here with y’all after Nationals! This year has been SPECIAL, really really SPECIAL & I LOVE watching our girl do what she LOVES… living out her dreams right in front of me 🥹💭! So so proud!! Love this team & the whole RCDC Dance FAM so much 🫶🏼!!!

•the TG UNIT did NOT disappoint 🐯💜💛•

Lakyn absolutely LOVED the @lsutigergirls dance clinic today! And I’m not going to lie… their HYPE for each other & for the girls is next level! We walked up to just be there when she got out of the clinic and you could hear the FUN from outside of the building… and I’m HERE FOR THAT 😍!

Biggest take away for me is just watching Lakyn overcome this storm we are walking through in life and constantly replacing it with her JOY ☔️🫶🏼! She is our RAINBOW BABY after all…

•RESILIENT 😭🩵•

That’s the word that comes to mind anytime anyone has asked me over the last few days how Lakyn is doing… “strong & resilient.”

There truly are no words that can describe how proud I am of our GOOSE tonight though y’all… I’ve cried so much that I keep thinking surely I’ve got to be getting close to running out of tears. I know I say how proud I am in every dance competition post that I make, but tonight is very different.

This 14 year old lost absolutely everything on Tuesday and got on that stage tonight and left every inch of her HEART on it 😭! If that’s not resilience I sure don’t know what is. I am one proud Mama always, but I sure am extra proud tonight y’all 🙏🏼🩵.

Her “Running” contemporary solo received the “Pure Passion” judges award & 1st place in category, and she was the overall winner of the No Labels dance competition 🫶🏼!

@rcdancecenter.conway staff & dance family thank y’all for LOVING our girl & our family, that’s going to have to be a whole separate post, but for now… THANK YOU, we love you all so very much 😭🩵.

💎🏆🤍LIKE THIS, LIKE THAT // My @danceprecisions mini trio that held a top 3 overall score the entire season and finished with a 2nd place national title at @starpowertalent. They trusted me the entire year and worked harder than they ever have to be consistently placing. These kids will each be a force to be reckoned with in the coming years… look out! To Skylie, Everly, and Grecia thank you for everything, training hard, and wanting to be champions. Continue to believe in yourselves and push for those goals! This was one of the easiest and most FUN processes I’ve ever had as a choreographer. I am so grateful and I miss you all so much!

333 🤍 Words cannot express the depth of my gratitude for each and every one of you. Over the last 3 years, you have not only trusted me as your teacher but have also become an irreplaceable piece of my heart. This journey we’ve embarked on this year together has been filled with countless moments of joy, sweat, figuring out counts (iykyk), and triumph, and I am continuously in awe of your dedication and passion.

This latest feat of learning an entirely new dance in just 3 hours is a testament to your incredible talent and perseverance. The 3 days of rehearsals showed me, yet again, your unwavering commitment to our craft. Your ability to adapt, to push through challenges, and to bring such beauty and emotion to every movement fills me with immense pride as an educator and choreographer.

Thank you for the countless hours you’ve dedicated, for the trust you’ve placed in me, and for the unyielding love you poured into every step of this new piece. You are not just dancers to me; you are family, and I am endlessly grateful for the magic we created together a week before nationals.
