MADISON RESIDENTS—TAKE THE SURVEY: We worked in partnership with ZMX, inc. to design a proposal for a future park on Metro Property on Chadwell Dr. in Madison in Nashville, TN. For context, Metro owns the land adjacent to a future development in Madison. It is currently an empty lot with trees. As it is already maintained by taxpayer dollars, we might as well see the community benefit from something that resembles a park that people would be more likely to use than its current state.

Last year, we created a design vision that involved analyzing the site, engaging stakeholders, and putting forth recommendations for the proposed park. Now, @amazon provided a grant so we could work with @nvr4district8 to continue community engagement and advocate to make this a Metro Park officially.

Survey in bio.

Thank you to all of you who came in during our first week! Today we spent time adding a few things. First, we had another very talented artist add their work to our walls @ljsmithtn. Second, we added matcha and blue matcha lattes to our menu. Available hot or iced. See you all soon!

It's pawpaw season, so l decided to find a recipe to cook with them instead of staring at them blindly not knowing what to do with them. Making some pawpaw bourbon muffins. I'll let you know how they turn out.

Info about the pawpaw.
The pawpaw tree produces the largest edible fruit native to N.A. The pawpaw fruit tastes like a cross between a banana and a mango. They're also rich in nutrients and vitamins.

Nearly fifty folks registered for the community feed back session on designing the park at Madison Station Blvd. (including the family of Kitty Wells and Johnny Wright who we hope to name the park after!)
Thank you @civicdesigncenter for facilitating this ongoing discussion!
