Feminine energy is on the floor 💃💃✨️
It was our first dance together and I am so happy we did this video together because it reminds me something really important in the dance scene.
It doesn't matter if you lead or if you follow, if your partner is a woman or a man!
What really matters is your vibe, your energy and your connection to your partner♥️
I feel so lucky to had this dance together 😊🙏

When you stop overthinking and start following your intuition, you get playful connection 🧠➡️💃✨🕺

On 12 september I had the honor of teaching an Uncover Connection workshop @proefdeliefdefestival together with @boamoves. During the workshops we invited the participants to try both roles, to get out of the head into the body, most of all to experience the joy of connecting through dance.

During the demo we showed how we dance Kizomba. We switch roles, we add styling when we feel like it, and we wait…. We let ourselves be inspired by each other and the moment, and together you create a unique dance. But most of all we just had a lot of fun 🥳😍

Can’t wait to dance, connect and have fun with many more of you. 💃🥳

Want to learn both roles in urban kiz and other kizomba styles, come join me and @boamoves @kizznfoolery @eleana.portfolio on the 24th of October ⬇️

If you dance different styles, you probably know what I mean. 💕Sometimes your body just improvises on its own. Even when I’m dancing Kizomba, I can suddenly feel a movement from another style I’ve danced over the years — and somehow, it just fits the music.

After so many years of dancing, all these styles become a part of my body, my musicality and my way of expressing myself.💃
And honestly, I love those unexpected moments when something new happens right there on the dance floor.

I’m happy to share these little improvisations with my friends, my students, and everyone who enjoys dancing outside the box. ✨
What do you think about our quick shoot? 👀
