Your living room feels off and you can’t figure out why? It happens to the best of us! You might have all the beautiful pieces, but the room feels stiff or disconnected. Trust me, it’s usually just a few intentional layers away from achieving that feeling of true comfort and peace. Here are my top five pro-tips for bringing your living room to life:

✨All primary seating belongs on the rug: sofa, lounge chairs, coffee-tables. Items parked against built-ins or walls are ancillary and don’t need to sit on the rug. Scroll to images 4 & 5 for a quick visual
✨Mix in accent chairs that offer a different material or shape. It instantly adds visual interest and function.
✨Ambient Light is Everything: Ditch the reliance on just overhead lights. Use stylish table and floor lamps to create warmth and intimacy.
✨Always: If you have the space, curtains are a must. They bring softness, texture, and a sense of completion, dressing the room fully.
✨Use your throw pillows to introduce color, pattern, and rich texture. This is where your unique personality truly shines!

I hope this little bit of wisdom was helpful! Save this post so you can easily reference these tweaks later.
