I had so much fun marketing LMF Presents: La La Land at 10 event with the @lmfliverpool team!

I had even more fun hosting the post screening discussion ‘The Fools Who Dream’ with @_riostar as our special guest. To get to chat about the film I love so much and how it represents the creative pursuit of a dream was a dream in itself. The full discussion is available to read on our Letterboxd HQ!

La La Land has been a film very dear to my heart for a decade, and thinking of what 2016 me (who dyed her hair to go see the film) would feel looking at what 2026 me did last week is very sweet.

Here’s to the fools who dream!

From the studio to the big screen.

We took over FACT Liverpool to screen the finished showreel scenes from our latest 12 Week Screen Acting Course.

This was the culmination of 12 weeks of hard work and dedication from everyone on the course. From the work in sessions to stepping in front of the camera and putting it all into their scenes, everything throughout the course had been building towards this moment.

We were incredibly proud of the performances across the board. Everyone on the course stepped up when it came time to shoot and delivered some fantastic work, and it was great to finally sit back and celebrate what they had achieved together.

What made the night even better was having people there from across The Dock Studio. Members from each of our previous courses, our current course and even some of the actors joining us for the next one all came together under one roof.

Special thank you to @theshawbros and their brilliant crew, who were responsible for shooting the showreel scenes and did an incredible job bringing them to life.

And a huge thank you to @lmfliverpool for working with us to make the screening happen and for their continued support of what we’re building here at The Dock Studio.

A very proud night for everyone involved.
