Day 2 in Dublin. @lboyle05 and I started the day, well, WET. A deluge of rain left us soaked, but we made it to O’Neill’s, a proper Irish pub, to have lunch with a dear friend and former professor, Susan Burgess. How did we fail to get a photo of this reunion?! Well, fantastic conversation and Irish stew answers that!

The rain stopped, so we bopped around Trinity College before meeting another friend, @thejennamiller, who coincidentally is also visiting. We hit the @jamesondistillerybowst tour, which was startlingly excellent. Still surprised by what I learned.

The @iacsorg conference kicked off with a welcome reception at the Guinness Storehouse. (Well done, @lmrsmith!) Food, beer and smart, fun friends who I typically get to see once a year.

Recap: Rain, delicious food, good friends, booze, conversation, great wife.
