2025 flew by that’s for sure! This year I switched off of night shift to days in the ER (loving my PRN life!). I’ve been substitute teaching, which I love with all my heart! Sadly only one trip to Europe, but one of the best trips I’ve taken exploring all of Italy with my parents and the Transy soccer team. (checked walking through the Jubilee doors- Holy door and climbing the Vatican, along with Pisa, Pompeii, and Sienna off the bucket list and revisiting Milan, Florence, and Rome). Coached a lot of soccer, and Evan never missed a single game. Played a bit of soccer myself, maybe I should stay in retirement my knees are starting to give out 😫😂. Celebrated 10 years of being cancer free - no yearly MRIs for me anymore!!! Fell in love with taking Pure Barre classes, my new workout obsession. PA applications galore! I will be attending Lincoln Memorial University in May to start Physician’s Associates school! Mentally preparing to move to Harrogate, Tennessee in the middle of nowhere in the Cumberland Gap. The views are beautiful with great hiking though and amazing facilities at LMU! I’m almost finished renovating my room and I’m loving my little “studio apartment” as we like to say. Traveled to Minnesota for a much needed Klehr family reunion! Went to Purdue University for high school church camp- had a great time, watching my sophomores grow in their faith, but it was one of the hottest weeks of the year 😫🔥Baby sat and dog sat constantly 🥹. Many mom daughter craft nights, catering weddings, amazing relationships built with my college age ministry girls, cooking dates with Branan @branancobb , thousands of pictures taken of Evan’s nephews ❤️, memorable boat days, and everything else in between.
2026 is the year I crack down on the last four prerequisites I have for PA school, and then we start the next school chapter in May! If you can’t find me, I’ll probably be studying how the body works and pulling all nighters😂. Oh and saving money, since I’ll be unemployed for the next two years! 😫🤑. Cheers to 2026!!
