Somewhere along the way, we started treating natural foot function like it was the unusual choice. 👣

Our feet were built to move, spread, flex, grip, balance, and actually feel the ground beneath us. Yet we spend most of our lives on flat surfaces with our feet confined, cushioned, and supported—then wonder why they’ve forgotten how to do their job.

Going barefoot, using toe spacers, balancing, playing outside, and exploring uneven terrain isn’t extreme. It’s simply giving your feet more opportunities to move the way they were designed to.

Take off your shoes. Get your feet in the dirt. Climb, balance, play, explore. 🌿

Sometimes getting back to basics is the most radical thing we can do.

We’re more connected than ever, yet sometimes the best connection happens when we put the phones down. 🌿
Bare feet in the grass. Sun on your skin. Laughing until your stomach hurts. Moving, playing, and actually being present with the people around you.

Getting outside gives us a chance to reconnect—with the earth beneath our feet, with each other, and with ourselves. 👣🌎

Less scrolling. More grounding. More playing. More moments that actually feel like living.

There’s a reason I work slowly.

In this sideline position, I’m working through the upper traps and the tissues along the side and back of the neck—areas that often become sensitive and guarded when someone is dealing with neck tension or headaches.

But the goal isn’t to force tissue to “release.”

Slow, intentional touch gives the nervous system time to receive information, respond, and adapt.

Fascia is richly innervated sensory tissue. Pressure, stretch, movement, breathing, and touch all provide sensory input to the brain. And when we slow the work down, we can continuously listen to what the person’s body is giving back rather than simply pushing harder.

That’s where somatic work and manual therapy meet for me.

I’m not just working on a trap.

I’m working with a person’s perception of tension, movement, pressure, safety, and sensation—and giving their system an opportunity to find another option.

Slow. Intentional. Precise.

Sometimes less force gives us more information.

Some things just feel better outside. 🌿☀️

Our Sun Time Shorts are made from 100% organic cotton—soft, breathable, and easy to move in wherever the day takes you.

We love choosing natural fibers, especially for the pieces that spend all day against our skin. Less synthetic, more natural, and right at home on the trail.

Made for sunshine, movement, and more time outside. 🌞

A little look into the deeper work of Structural Integration.

Here I’m working around the sphenoid — a small bone deep within the skull that has relationships with the jaw, eyes, and surrounding structures.

The intention isn’t to force anything into place. It’s slow, precise work—listening to the tissue, reducing unnecessary tension, and creating an opportunity for the system to find more balance.

Sometimes the smallest areas can have a surprisingly big relationship with how the whole body organizes itself.

Slow. Intentional. Precise.
