🎮 NINE GAMES THAT MADE ME! 🎮

Finally jumping on the trend… and OH BOY was this difficult! 😂

How on earth are you supposed to narrow down a lifetime of gaming memories to just nine games?! There are so many I could have included, but these are some of the ones that have really stuck with me over the years. ❤️

From Pokémon Ruby and Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland to Halo 2, GTA: Vice City and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! — these games have all played a part in making me the gamer and collector I am today.

Massive thanks to everyone who’s tagged me in their own versions of this trend, too! I absolutely love seeing everyone’s picks and finding out which games mean the most to you all. 🥹

Now the big question… which game from my nine would you pick, and what would be in your own list? 👀👇

3 games I just can't get into! A new series I've decided to start off on my page and might start doing as a weekly thing if it goes well.

Now, this doesn't necessarily mean that I dislike these games, I went into them wanting to love them! Infact one of them I haven't even been able to complete due to it not clicking with me. But there's something about them that doesn't mesh well with my personal wants from a game. Be it a smarter or cleaner looking UI, better quality of life improvements or just more appealing visuals.

The somewhat exception to this is Dream Drop Distance, as it is a game that I certainly dislike the most out of my 3 choices. It isn't a bad game, but considering what came before and even the few after, it definitely feels more mediocre than the rest.

What games don't click with you and why?

🌀 LET IT RIP! 🌀

Anyone else grow up absolutely obsessed with Beyblade? 😂🔥

I love this Japanese Beyblade release for the Nintendo 3DS! The artwork is brilliant, and having the box, game, manuals and all the extra bits makes it such a cool piece to have in the collection. 🇯🇵🎮

Beyblade was such a huge part of growing up for so many of us. The battles, the tops, arguing over whose was best… proper childhood nostalgia! ❤️

Who remembers Beyblade, and which one was your favourite growing up? 👀👇

Volume 2 of #fridayfreeforall spooky season is upon us! And we're bringing out the big guns, we're putting on our big boy pants and facing the faces of horror gaming dead in the eye! 👻

Horror gaming is absolutely loaded with amazing monster, psychos and other amazing creatures. Some of them are ever looming and hide in the shadows, and others take a more direct approach and want you dead no matter what it takes. But these are our picks for what we believe stands in the hall of fame as the true face of fear!😱

Joining us this week is the one and only @gamerswaveuk with his huge variety of discussion content and community focused mindset, his pick set the stage for the rest of us to follow, and he came out with a goodn!

As always, everyone is welcome to take part, just let one of us know!

Who is your face of fear and do any of our picks match up to them?

🔥 BREATH OF FIRE II! 🔥

Breath of Fire II is honestly one of my all-time favourite JRPGs, so I’ve been having an absolute blast working my way through it on the G90. 🎮❤️

There’s just something about playing these older RPGs on a handheld that feels so bloody good. Perfect for getting lost in a proper adventure wherever you are.

And if you fancy picking up some gaming gear of your own, you can get 10% OFF ALL PRODUCTS from Pocket Arcadia using code BCB! 👀🔥

So after months of umming and ahhing. I finally decided to make my own substack so I can post lengthier review/ discussion content that isn't possible on Instagram! Even for my reviews on here, i find myself cutting as much as 50% sometimes just to make the character limit, and i feel like I'm not getting across my thoughts good enough!

Right now I really have no clue how often I will post, a lot going on right now has already prevented me from posting on here already. But it is absolutely something I want to commit too in the future! And Instagram will be used for more bitesized review content.

But my first full review is live right now! Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind. It would mean a lot if you went and checked it out! Link is in my bio!

By far my most played game ever. Final Fantasy XIV! I recently obtained the platinum trophy for that PS4 version, they've been hinting at discontinuing for a while so it became now or never!

It's a shame that Square moved away from making physical copies of their expansions aside from the usual collectors edition swag. The latest expansion, Evercold, is shaping up to be a nice combination of Heavensward and Shadowbringers, and having it physically would have been nice for the collection!

Despite my innumerable grievances with the state of the game right now, I am 16 years deep (yes i played during the awful 1.X days) and just can't being myself to let go of it! There's always a pull i get to return to Hydealyn for the next adventure, even if the time spent there is significantly less than it was prior. And I think letting my house get demolished so I could let my sub expire every so often helps that return transition a lot easier!

Have you played FFXIV? whats your favourite of the series?

🎮⚔️ WHAT IF THE WITCHER 3 WAS A SIERRA POINT & CLICK ADVENTURE?! ⚔️🎮

Forget signs, swordplay and rolling around in the dirt.

Imagine Geralt with a “TALK TO”, “LOOK AT” and “USE” cursor… and an inventory full of increasingly questionable things you’ve picked up for absolutely no reason.

🖱️ LOOK AT ROACH
“Roach is a horse. He appears to be judging you.”

🖱️ TALK TO ROACH
“Roach has nothing to say.”

🖱️ USE ROACH WITH ROACH
“That seems unnecessary.”

Suddenly every Witcher contract becomes a 4-hour puzzle involving a rusty key, a suspicious chicken and something you found in a barrel three villages ago.

And knowing Sierra…

There’d definitely be a way to accidentally get Geralt killed by examining a tree. 😂

Honestly, I’d play the hell out of this.

Would you play The Witcher 3: A Sierra Adventure? 🐺🖱️
