Fifteen years after the cult-classic Snow on Tha Bluff premiered at film festivals — winning at Slamdance and the Chicago Underground Film Festival, wowing The New York Times, and becoming Netflix's first original content play - Curtis Snow is reclaiming his story.

This project follows Snow's journey from exploitation, generational trauma, and stolen IP to independent ownership and creative freedom. He's visiting school, local businesses, and cultural hubs to share his global platform with real ones worldwide.

Financial projections show that Snow on Tha Bluff remains a significantly undervalued cultural asset with proven audience demand:

Netflix acquired licensing rights for approximately $30,000 (2012-2019), a fraction of its impact on the company's creative development and exponential growth during its runtime.

Dispute with former partner led to the film being removed from Netflix. Curtis alerted Netflix of the liability they took by continuing to stream the film.

He sent a demand letter to remove it or face an Errors and Ommissions claim on behalf of Curtis and all subjects of the film whose consent was coerced or never received by Fuzzy Logic Pictures, the entity that fraudulently dealt licensing rights to Netflix in 2012.

Since 2014, the so-called Director and production company have practiced torturous interference on potential deals and follow ups proposed by Snoop Dogg, Benny Boom and others, including a lawsuit that blocked Curtis from releasing a sequel to the film.

The rights to the film were eventually acquired by Chicken Soup For The Soul, which declared bankruptcy in 2024. Snow attempted to place a bid for his film in bankruptcy court in 2025 but received no response. He is currently building a portfolio of trademarks and copyrights for the film, his likeness, and viral sayings like "Fuck Em We Ball," and "We Just Still."
