Kansas City is getting national attention. 👏

The Daily Mail recently featured Kansas City as one of America’s fastest-growing metros, and our own Tom Suther was interviewed to share why so many people are choosing to call KC home.

His take?

🏡 Affordability that stretches your dollar further.
🚗 Less traffic and congestion than many major metros.
🎶 A growing music and entertainment scene.
🍽️ Award-worthy restaurants and an ever-evolving food culture.
🚊 Continued investment in downtown, including the expanded streetcar and vibrant entertainment districts.

As Tom shared, people aren’t just moving for jobs-they’re moving for a better lifestyle.

We couldn’t agree more.

Kansas City continues to grow because it offers something special: incredible neighborhoods, a strong sense of community, and a quality of life that’s hard to beat.

Congratulations, Tom, on representing both the Locate Team and Kansas City on a national stage!

Kansas City, Missouri, has been recognized as one of the hottest housing markets in the U.S., tied with Austin, Texas, according to a recent analysis. The city’s ranking highlights its growing appeal to buyers, driven by factors like affordability, strong job growth, and vibrant cultural offerings.

Having lived in Austin during its rapid growth from 2013 to 2016, I’ve seen firsthand how a city can transform. Now, I’m witnessing a similar shift in Kansas City—but with some key differences: the traffic isn’t as crazy and it’s not as hot! While Austin’s warm weather is great for an outdoor lifestyle and live music, it’s also unbearably hot for half the year. Trust me, I’ve also lived in Florida, and KC strikes a perfect balance without the sweltering heat!

This weekend at a soccer game against a Chicago team, a mom asked me, “Is Kansas City really this great?” She drives 45 minutes to 1.5 hours each way for her kid’s soccer practice. She called her husband and said, “Should we move to KC?” 🏙️

Kansas City’s charm is definitely making an impression!

Looking to move or invest in real estate in the Kansas City metro area, I’m happy to help!

This painting goes out to Becky’s clients, Richard and Anne, who have lived in this sophisticated and wonderful French home for the past 37 years. They just sold it and are off on a big adventure to live in California with their children and grandchildren. What a classic and wonderful home! Our very best you you, Richard and Anne! #gift #home #realestate #watercolor #watercolour #watercolorpainting #frencharchitecture #kcartist #artistoninstagram
