Some of Lodi’s best wine stories are more than a century in the making. And the best way to discover them is in the glass! 🍷

Lodi’s historic vineyards produce some truly special wines, each with a story worth sharing. At the Lodi Wine Visitor Center, you can explore old vine wines through our rotating tasting selection and discover bottles to take home, including wines from producers without a local tasting room.

A few of many old vine wines to look for:

🍷 PERLEGOS Stampede Vineyard Zinfandel
🍷 LORENZA Bechthold Vineyard Cinsault
🍷 MARCHELLE Old Vine Family Cuvée
🍷 IRONSTONE Rous Vineyard Zinfandel

Every bottle is a chance to experience Lodi’s history and help keep these remarkable vineyards growing for generations to come.

On #nationalfarmersday we thank all of the farmers throughout California and across the United States! 🇺🇸 Working long days and nights to keep operations running, we can’t thank our farmers enough. Being a 6-generation family operation in California is something we take pride in and work very hard to keep operating. 🌱 Next time you go to the grocery store, make sure you are buying local! Especially when buying your wine, look for California, look for Lodi!! 🍷🍇 #supportlocal #mohrfryranches #since1855 #drinkcawine

Today on #nationalfarmersday we couldn’t be more thankful for the farmers in our family who work tirelessly to keep our operation running!

As sixth-generation Lodi farmers, agriculture is more than just our livelihood. It’s our heritage and a legacy we hope to continue for generations to come.

Behind every bottle of Lodi wine is a family farm, and supporting California wine means supporting the farmers and communities that depend on agriculture.

The future of family farming depends on the choices we make today. So next time you reach for a bottle of wine, make it California. Better yet, make it Lodi! ❤️🍷

We do have a couple days left but for the most part growers and wineries around Lodi are done. Thank you to everyone for the hard work and good luck this off season.

There's more to Lodi than Zinfandel 🍇

With more than 130 grape varieties planted across the region, Lodi growers have spent decades working with Mediterranean and Iberian grapes that thrive in our warm days and cool nights.

A few you can taste right here, right now at the Visitor Center:
🍋 Albariño: bright acidity, citrus, stone fruit
🌼 Vermentino: lemon-lime, spring flowers, crisp finish
🍒 Cinsaut: juicy red fruit with clove and black pepper
🌹 Carignane: black cherry, violet, from vines over 100 years old
🍓 Tempranillo: cherry, raspberry, gentle earthiness
🫐 Mourvèdre: dark berry, cassis, earthy depth

Read more about these six varieties at the link in bio, then stop in to taste them side by side. Open daily 10:00AM - 5:00PM.

Harvesting Cabernet Sauvignon tonight. Captured a before and after for everyone to see what happens when our harvester shakes each vine. I really like the after the best . . . for many reasons!!! 🍇🍷 #lodiwine #drinklodiwine #drinkcaliforniawines #mohrfryranches #supportlocal
