This week we’re joined by Canadian legends July Talk to talk about their 10th anniversary of Touch, and their new live album/lost album release Touch X. Singers Peter Dreimanis and Leah Fay Goldstein call in to talk about their wild stage antics, releasing old material, the many sides of collaboration, and Peter’s stint as Bert in Sinners 🧛

See above for some clips from their latest live show at Beanfield shot by me and Alanna. Only missing a shot of a pregnant Leah narrowly balancing on a barricade rail because we were too scared we might have to catch her. Also at the end is the photo mentioned in the interview of me holding up Peter at their last Montreal show, when he too balanced on the guard rail 📸 Shot by Nadim aka Nadx.

After some of July Talk’s music, we take a trip between Japanese pop, a cover in Swahili, and some German indie rock, before wrapping on an Irish banger ☘️

A huge thanks to everyone who supported the show through N10as yearly funding drive! Your donations keep this station alive and build a bigger music community for Montreal and beyond on the World Wide Wadio 📻

Flow is the new single from our upcoming EP, Maybe I should figure out why I’m so angry all the time, and is out now and available on most streaming services, notable exception being Spotify.

The video was created by a very good friend, @keithhopkin , and was a creative exercise in AI “assisted” video generation. Despite the nasty two letter bad word a lot of work and creative expression went into this video, and you can follow Kieth on Threads and/or LinkedIn to get more of the story and some BTS content.

You can pre-order the EP, and receive a download of the new single right now from our Bandcamp page!
