📍 Moss Vale Golf Club
📅 11.10.2026
🏆 Ranked #68 NSW
⛳️ 36 Stableford Points | 14 Handicap
🥇 Individual Winner — Sydney vs Canberra

Moss Vale punches well above its #68 ranking in NSW in my opinion. Having now played it twice, both times in fantastic condition, it's quickly becoming one of my favourite country courses. Equal parts beautiful and challenging, with plenty of character throughout the layout. ⛳️🌳

Round 2 of our Southern Highlands trip and the Sydney vs Canberra Crew battle. 36 points was enough to take the individual honours, but unfortunately not enough to get the Sydney lads over the line for the team victory.

The golf started about as badly as possible.

9 over through 4 holes. Two triples, a double and a bogey. At that point I was wondering how many balls I'd need to finish the round. 😂

Then something clicked.

The 5th was the turning point, sparking an incredible turnaround. Played the next five holes in even par to reach the turn at +9, then went just 2 over through the next seven holes.

Holes 5–16 might be the best 12-hole stretch of golf I've ever played.

8 pars. 3 bogeys. 1 birdie.

The 3-wood was absolutely pure off the tee, the flat stick was humming and I was getting up and down from everywhere. One of those rare stretches where everything just seemed to work.

The highlight was the par 5 7th. Absolutely flushed a 3-wood off the tee in front of Dormie House and the crowd watching from the balcony. Followed it with another 3-wood to pin-high right, chipped it to tap-in distance and walked away with a birdie. 🐦

A pretty special feeling after the disaster of the opening four holes.

Great to share the tee with Canberra Captain Jules again, alongside Ruddy and Shaun. But the best part of the weekend was introducing the Sydney lads to the Canberra crew I've been lucky enough to play with throughout the year and watching everyone get along like they'd known each other for ages.

🍻 The 19th Hole — Dormie House

One of the best post-round beer spots in Australian golf.

With 12 of us staying at Dormie House, the Sydney vs Canberra rivalry didn't finish on the 18th green. The competition continued well into the night

⛳ 12 MONTHS OF GOLF — WHAT A RIDE! 🍻

It’s now been 12 months since I signed up as a member at Burns Club and played my very first club comp.

What started as just getting out for a hit has turned into something pretty bloody special!

24 courses. 4 states. A heap of new mates and countless memories made along the way.

From the local tracks around Canberra to some of Australia’s best courses, it’s been one hell of a 12 months.

Plenty of bombs launched, putts missed, balls donated to the bush and a few scorecards we’d rather forget. 😂

But looking back through the photos, it’s not the scores that stand out. It’s the people, the road trips, the laughs and all the good times in between.

It’s so good to look back on the memories made, the friendships formed and the opportunities this game has brought over the past year.

A massive shoutout to all the legends I’ve shared a fairway, a cart or a beer with along the way. You’ve made the last 12 months an absolute ripper!

And to think this all started with signing up for a social round with @golfcrewaustralia 🍻If anyone is thinking about getting into the sport in Australia, look these guys up, highly recommend! Great people, great courses and some rough golf between us all!

Here’s to another 12 months of chasing birdies, launching bombs and making memories with good mates.

GOOD TIMES. BAD SHOTS. ⛳

New course ☆66☆
📍 Royal Canberra Golf Club
📅 06.08.2026

One of the highest-quality golf courses I've ever played. Royal Canberra is the kind of course that keeps calling you back, and I'll definitely be returning. The immaculate greens, stunning conditioning, and incredible views from almost every tee box made it a truly memorable experience. ⛳️

We played 27 holes, with the Golf Crew Australia Open Series contested across holes 1–18. A shotgun start meant we kicked things off on the long par 3 17th, with its enormous green setting the tone for the day.

My favourite hole was the par 5 15th. A creek cuts across the front of the green, forcing you to decide whether to take on the carry or lay up. I went for it, only to take too much club and send my 4-iron long over the back. A great example of the risk-and-reward golf that makes this course so enjoyable.

Another standout was the par 3 8th. Just 135 metres and slightly downhill, with Black Mountain and Telstra Tower creating one of the best backdrops I've played over.

Royal Canberra has instantly earned a place among my favourite courses, and I already can't wait to tee it up here again.

📅 May 2026

⛳ 13 Rounds
🆕 8 New Courses
🏆 6 Top 50 Courses in Australia
🤝 100 New Golf Friends

What an incredible month of golf around Australia. After everything that happened in April, I didn't think it could be topped, but May somehow found a way to raise the bar.

From bucket-list courses and Crew Champs to sunrise tee times, coastal layouts, and rounds with golfers from all over the country, this month was packed with unforgettable experiences.

The golf wasn't always pretty, but the memories certainly were.

I also found a new home away from home in @scratchgolf_au between there and @marrickvillegolf Im never without somewhere to play.

Unless I somehow find myself teeing it up on the Old Course, I'm not sure how any single golf trip will ever top what May 2026 delivered. 🌏⛳️

It wouldn't have be possible without @golfcrewaustralia. When I joined 16 months ago my golf journey was just a dream.
Shout out to the crew members who kept the good vibes flowing on and off the course.

New course ☆55☆
📍 The National Golf Club — Old Course
📅 04.05.2025
🏆 Ranked #21 in Australia

Golf Crew Australia — Crew Champs Round 1 ⛳️

This course completely broke me, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Playing in 45km/h winds made every shot a challenge. Add in the deceptive hole lengths and complex bunkering, and it turned into a seriously tough day on the course.

Some of the best views in Australian golf. The signature 7th hole — a 121m par 3 played over bushland to an “island” green — is incredible.

The shared green complex on the 10th and 14th holes is one of the best I’ve ever seen in person, surrounded by towering trees and protected by six huge bunkers.

I shot 107, so the golf definitely wasn’t pretty… but somehow this course has still snuck into my top 5.

After a solid start I fell apart in the back nine to scrape home with only 26 points 😬…

A rough day of play but wow what an experience! Love this event, love this place, love this Crew!!

Special thanks to @golfcrewaustralia Tony, Panda, all the other crew Captains and all the Crew that came down to make this such an epic event!!
