One of my favorite photographers and people, artist @loistrueblue. I’m so fortunate knowing her. She invited me for lunch at her apartment for pasta with pesto made from basil she grew in her garden in Pennsylvania. I was able to see her brand new Book Palladio, celebrating the Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. The book is magnificent, the images are beautiful, rich, engaging. An artful treatment of Palladio’s surviving work. Of course, all shot on film on a 7x17” view camera. Please take a look at Lois’s work. She’s photograph all over the world. After lunch and viewing her book, Lois was very nice to pose for me with my newly concocted Graflex camera. • Made with the Auto Graflex Jr. & Cooke Series X Speedic 3 3/4” f2.5 lens on Kodak Tri-X. • Film processed & scanned at @phtsdr • #artist #largeformatphotography #graflex #filmphotography

From the shelves 🦢 TO BE by Lois Conner www.anzenbergergallery-bookshop.com This is a powerful meditation on pregnancy, transformation and the passage of time. Drawing inspiration from Renaissance altar paintings and the enduring image of the Venus of Willendorf, these intimate panoramic portraits explore the pregnant body as a space of fertility, vulnerability, hope and transformation. Created slowly and collaboratively, the photographs celebrate the women behind these transformations and the fleeting nature of life itself. This is a deeply moving body of work about what is seen and unseen, and the extraordinary moment before birth. @lartiere @loisconner @anzenbergergallery @brotfabrikwien #photobookjousting #photobook #bookoftheday #pregnancy #womenphotographer From the shelves 🦢 TO BE by Lois Conner This is a powerful meditation on pregnancy, transformation and the passage of time.

Dopo il successo della mostra “Geometry, Harmony and Life. The Architecture of Andrea Palladio from Antiquity to Classicism”, recentemente ospitata al National Museum of China, la serata offrirà un’anteprima della prossima esposizione “Chinese Voices on Palladio”, che inaugurerà ufficialmente a luglio presso il Tsinghua University Art Museum. @iicpechino @italyinchina
