Pt 2 of last weeks food journey took us to @lomabygc on the banks of Loch Lomond.
Once again the food was impeccable with yet more amazing wine, a true recommend if you ever find yourself in those parts of the woods!

✨ Dinner with a view at Loma ✨

Beautiful food, gorgeous surroundings and those Loch Lomond views… 🤍 Loma was such a lovely part of our stay at Cameron House.

There’s something about slowing down, dressing up and enjoying a beautiful dinner somewhere special. 🥂✨

Definitely one to remember. 🤍

we’re Never Not Hungry so we went to…

LOMA in Cameron House.

Back to Cameron House again this week, this time for the He Grubber’s birthday 🕺🏻. We had dinner in Loma by Graeme Cheevers and both opted for the tasting menu and wine pairing. OMG, deeeelish! Lots of fishy courses which suits us, the wine tasted great and service was brilliant. V. classy 💅🏼. Our table was next to a window with a lovely view of Loch Lomond and they brought out a Happy Birthday dessert at the end of our meal (no pics of that though cos I handed over control of photography and the results were not good 🫪.) I stupidly ordered a cheese plate too so we ended up with A LOT of food, but the cheese was super stinky and came with truffle honey so i have no regrets 🙂‍↕️.

Highlights for me were the hamachi (pic 5), the lamb (pic 10) and the strawberries (pic 11). ✨

Four kids, a hotel babysitter, and a few uninterrupted hours together❤️

@lomabygc at @cameronhouselochlomond might just be the most romantic restaurant in Scotland. Incredible views over Loch Lomond, beautiful interiors, and a menu that somehow manages to be both creative and comforting at the same time.

Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Have you ever found a restaurant that was worth planning an entire trip around?
