UPDATE on Julia’s cats. We are still looking for a foster or adopter for Baby Sir and Sushumna (4 year old brother and sister). While we have a lovely offer for each cat individually, we would really like to find someone(s) who can welcome them both. Julia had a 5 cat household for over 4 years and the thought of Baby Sir and Sushumna not having each other is giving us pause.

If you can share this post, we’d appreciate it, if you aren’t in a position to open your home to these sweet tabbies. For more info, see my bio where you’ll find the website @lomagna created about Julia’s cats. You can also check out Julia’s cat IG account @rosama_and_her_pepitas

We’re happy to report that we have a foster-to-adopt for Nikkita and a foster for Rosa and Venus, so they will need a forever home, but do have a soft place to land.

When NARN-CB was started back in 2018, we were thinking primarily about efficiency. Rescuers at all levels in a specific locale could work together to share resources, learn from each other, and collaborate on projects. And that's exactly what we do. And yes, we are hella efficient! The part we *didn't* anticipate was the community that developed -- the friendships and the emotional support. Now, we recognize the incalculable value of that. We have regular get-togethers to eat, drink, blow off steam, and of course talk about cat poop. It wouldn't be a rescuer hang without some 💩 talk.

WE NEED CAT FOSTERS!!!!!

We have a panoply of cats who need foster homes (or forever homes!): kittens, seniors, young cats who want a feline friend and others who want to be solo, uber friendly ones and some that need socialization. Some of these friendly kitties are still living outside until we can line up a foster. When we say, “fostering saves lives,” we mean it!

1. Sundae (female), 4 years
2. Manchego, male, 1 year
3. Downpour (orange, male) and Puddle (female), 9 weeks
4. Mariah (female), 13 years
5. Orville (male), 1 1/2 years
6. Romeo (male), 1 1/2 years
7. Nari (male), 12 years
8. Badger (male), 3 years
9. Chucky (male), 2 years
10. Smokey (male), 5 years
11. Boots (tuxedo), 1 year, and Sundae (calico, female), 4 years

The event may be over, but it’s NOT TOO LATE to adopt or foster a cat!

Head over to bit.ly/narn-adoptables to see our available cats and put in an application for foster or adopt.

Thank you to volunteer @sammyrenshi for capturing this great footage of our cats at the event!
