Welcome to Camp Miasma! 🩸

Last night we teamed up with @long_prawn to celebrate Jane Schoenbrun’s TEENAGE SEX AND DEATH AT CAMP MIASMA with an evening that was part dinner, part cinema, part summer camp fever dream. Think edible seduction and delirium, dressed in wood panelling and mismatched fabrics.

Aura photography by @missbstarot, tenderness tent by @tsekourasarts, CRT media from @56kinstallations plus incredible drinks from @fin.wines, @mateo.world and @bodriggybrewpub, who kept everyone hydrated all night.

Huge thanks to our fearless camp leader and host, @johannacosgrove.

That’s a wrap from @nowornever.melb. So many great shows and performances, this was an impossible task to cut down a selection for socials. Until next year. Thank you @longstoryshortagency & City of Melbourne for having me

Here is a quick recap of my first orchestra & opera concert experience in Melbourne last week at the @philipglass event by the @nowornever.melb in sort of an asmr version. This was probably one of the most amazing experiences so far in Melbourne.

The @royalexhibitionbuilding was completely transformed and it looked really parisian with beautiful lighting and a captivating modern chandelier in the middle.

I was lucky enough to also be invited to the pre event reception where the food was catered by @long_prawn and the entire degustation was musical themed, there was a person carving the Spanish jamon like a violin, spiced rum poached pears in a shape of a chello and these scallops on top of bells and so much more. It really set the tone and a yummy dinner for a great night.

The first act was performed by @orchestravictoria and the second act was a solo piano by the talented @maki.namekawa namekawa.

Truly both acts were amazing and it really raised everyone from the seats as the night ended in a standing ovation.

A core memory for real, all thanks to the @nowornever.melb team!
