Upon a quick check in StoryGraph, I discovered that I have read 66 books so far this year!! A chunk of them have been audiobooks, as thereโ€™s no way I would have hit that number otherwise, even with the reading time during summer break. Using the template by @ktlee.writes that I saw @look.whatijustread post, here are some of my standouts. The Correspondent will forever hold my heart. If Books Could Kill was such a JOY. Evelyn Hugo ripped my heart out. Mabel can do no wrong in my eyes, ever. Guess Again was a suspense masterpiece and I canโ€™t wait to read more of Charlie Donlea. Witch Season was the urban/modern fantasy I didnโ€™t know I needed and I am itching for more. I had high hopes for a Swift recommendation but alas all that glitters is not gold. People We Meet on Vacation was a departure from my usual genre and this one really tickled me - so much so that I have since added more fun/romance titles into my repertoire. Of course I wouldnโ€™t be a basic millennial reader if I wasnโ€™t chomping at the bit for the next adventures of the Night Court. I keep hearing about The Spin and a 1950s/60s housewife tale of psychosis or actual horror and am hoping to get to this one. The Calamity Club WILL be read before January. Maybe itโ€™ll be perfect for my Thanksgiving Break. Lastly, Iโ€™m not sure if โ€œmost beautiful bookโ€ meant physically or emotionally, but I went with emotions as per my Pisces way. If Cats Disappeared From The World DESTROYED me, but in the most beautiful wayโ€ฆ get it? Anyway, this was a lot for a social media post. If you read all that, you are a literary rock star and I appreciate you! Of these books, did any resonate with you?? #MidYearBookCelebrationTag #6MonthsOfBooks #BougieBookPod #2026Reads #TBR
