This is one of the most significant pictures from our wedding.

Each one of these ladies got on a plane, flew from another state to witness our love journey in person. The crazy thing is that 3 of the 5 I had never met in person before that day.

These are my clubhouse sisters. The affirmation Aunties’. I met them through the clubhouse app at the end of 2020, right after my divorce. This was such a hard time in my life and this group was one of the 2 groups of sister friends that I connected to across the world (Krave being the other). They embraced me, we laughed, cried, prayed, plotted😜, celebrated and most of all GREW together. We held rooms every day for a few years then went to 3x, 2x a week -but no matter what - when you showed up to a room- there was a sister waiting to walk through whatever you needed.

The ladies in these pictures did life with me before I ever got the honor of hugging each one of their necks. From experiencing Covid, to my grandmother’s death, to breakups and makeups & wakeups 😂, to losing jobs and getting better jobs, to dreams and business launches to standing in the fulfillment of God’s promises to us -we’ve shared it all.

And when I asked them to join me on our special day, I honestly just wanted them to know that I wanted them there, but didn’t expect them to all make the arrangements. I’m loved and I love each and everyone of you right back!

My wedding was a family reunion & here I got to meet my sisters in person. I love you ladies deep.

And many of them got to meet each other for the first time in person as well!😍😍

I’m grateful for your friendships and sisterhood. Your presence meant more than you can imagine! @msjerome_insta @ambekisyecotton1 @looking_4_me @thisgirlflipshouses @blu_berri87 @msjerome_insta

As we celebrated Alisha this weekend, we witnessed the prosperity of the African proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child.” And oh how that village showed up to applaud her and offer words of acknowledgment, confirmation, and blessings to carry her through the next phase of her life.
Thank you to her Pre-K/Kindergarten teacher, second-grade teacher, first piano teacher, first volleyball coaches, middle school volleyball coach, co-workers, friends, and family. She would not be the person she is today without the seeds you planted that bloomed into the beautiful and well-rounded young lady we see today. We are grateful to each of you!

I had to come back and give a SPECIAL shout to my cousin the celebrity chef, @carolinamoesbbq “where the pit stays lit” who came from Raleigh, NC to make us such a delicious spread of food that had everyone coming back for more! To-go plates were a must! 😂 Lakashia Galloway Blount that banana pudding went lickty split! Ya’ll did that! Need a caterer or a food truck for a special event, he WILL NOT disappoint!
